Dogs are allowed but they need to be leashed due to our free ranging ducks and the closeness of the road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. We are a Hobby farm located on a peaceful and remote 15 acres of fields and 20 acres of woods. We raise Jacob sheep and have 5 gentle Halfinger ponies as well as Chickens, dogs and cats. There are walking and horseback riding trails through the woods. Guests here can learn about raising and caring for sheep and horses. They can have horsemanship or horseback riding lessons from a CHA Certified riding instructor on site. We also offer inexpensive outdoor weddings at our beautiful gazebo in the woods.

Recently selectively logged we discovered views of local mountains and decided to take advantage of the clearings. The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer! Learn more about this land: Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking. Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. What a great stay!!! The space was clean and included everything needed for a relaxing weekend. The wood stove heated the whole cabin nicely. Hope to be able to stay again.

Visit our Remote cabin with all the comforts of home. Cook dinner on the fire pit and then relax and enjoy the warm glow of the lights and look at the stars.

I loved Sandi and Brandon"s cabin! The land is beautiful and you feel miles away and secluded from everyone else. The cabin itself is very comfortable, clean and cozy. They thought of everything! The covered porch was great and we enjoyed our fires in the fire . The sheep came to visit and were peaceful to watch. I 100% recommend staying here. It's so relaxing!

We had just the BEST stay at the cabin. We brought our 6 month old along for his first stay in nature and he loved it. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a nice, quiet weekend away. Sandi and Brandon were amazing hosts and their kindness made the stay even better. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back soon!

Staying on the island was truly unforgettable! Lisa was so helpful in explaining how things worked and also the stories behind certain aspects! This was particularly interesting as this is an island and cabin with a beautiful and rich history. Every inch of the home is so intentional, and there are also books around where you can learn more about how it was built. It can be hard to find places where dogs are welcome, so it’s also so appreciated that Lisa allows pups. Our Arlo absolutely loved having the freedom to explore this island, and by the time he wanted to come inside in the evening, he was exhausted in the best way! We visited the other end of the island where there is an additional cabin that doesn’t get rented out, and spent some time enjoying the scenery from a rock overlooking the ocean. We absolutely intend to return next summer.

Nice little spot in a great location. A-frame is well insulated and comfy. It was very clean, as was the outhouse. I didn't use the amenities in the greenhouse, but I checked them out and they were as described. I'm likely to start here again as it is a very affordable way to visit midcoast.

Such a special beautiful place. This was the second year I spent a few days on this island and the end always comes too soon. Sure there are mosquitos and minimal electricity…but the sacredness of this land and the magic of witnessing the tides shift throughout the day take the precedent of living in tune with nature. Lisa is a great host and I cannot wait to return next year.
