The yurt features full kitchen to include a small refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, small 20" cook stove/oven, double cast iron sink, drip coffee pot, tea kettle, microwave, toaster/air fry oven, dishware/glassware for 2-4 people, silverware and cooking utensils, dish towels, dish soap, olive oil, vinegar, cooking spices, cookie sheets, muffin and loaf pans. The bathroom has a 48" stand up shower with rain shower head and is stocked with towels, hand soap, bar soap, hair dryer, starter toilet paper and paper towels for your stay. The site itself is right by the road, that seems to be used fairly regularly.
The outhouse is pretty good, kept clean. It gets the job done when you need it, haha.
There was a little bit of grass to walk our dog, though if we went into the semi wooded area we got multiple ticks on us (I know it was definitely season for them though), so we tried not to do that.
The site was level, though the power and grey water disposal were a little confusing to figure out. William was definitely nice and helpful in getting them figured out.
We had a lot of errands in the area, so it was a great place to park and sleep, but that’s about what I’d recommend it for, personally. It was very quick and easy access into Bangor.

Runaround is such a great spot! The sleeping pods are awesome and the whole setup is quite cute. There are a number of beautiful places to explore close by, as well as great restaurants and breweries in the surrounding towns. Definitely recommend!

The perfect spot if you’re on a hunting trip with your buddies like we were. Our host William was always available when we needed him. The site has everything you need, electric, a bathroom, WiFi and potable water as well as garbage bins for your trash. Easy check in and out process we’ll definitely be keeping this site in our back pocket for future trips to Maine!
