Loving Farm is a 6 acre working flower farm and nature preserve in the heart of Nepton, Kentucky (within Ewing). Bordered by Johnson Creek and a railroad, supposedly being revived. TBD. Marietta and Perriee (aka, "The Girls") are a happily married couple who are the current caretakers of the land and live in the house on the property. Half of the property, along the creek, is currently being nature-scaped after not mowing it since 2022. Since then, we have been maintaining mowed pathways and planting seeds, trees, and vegetables that can be found in pockets along the way. The revitalization has led to a resurgence of sunchokes, golden rod, and other native species, in addition to some ragweed, which we have been managing diligently as the space matures. Camp sites are located in this part of the property, mostly along the creek. We also have a White Duck bell tent that is on a deck that overlooks the trails, which can be reserved as well. Our home is also on the property, along the railroad, where our more cultivated gardens are located. We have cats and ducks on the property and appreciate not having other animals from guests, out of respect for their comfort. There is a porta-potty on site and a Trelino composting toilet for guest use in the flower studio bathroom. The flower studio has a bathtub and is plumbed with city water. Cold water is available from an outdoor spigot 24-7. This space is used by Perriee and Marietta for flower storage, seed starting, and baking for events and will remain accessible to guests while staying for the use of bathroom. We would ask you not cook or store food in the kitchen as we use it for business purposes, but the space does have an air conditioner in the event someone needs to cool off. Regardless, it is likely that you will run into another guest here, and cross paths with one of us while working in the studio during the day. The Nepton Warehouse, located on the property, is visible from the road and is used for events here on the farm. We will let you know if an event will be happening during your stay in the event that you want to come during a quieter time. Nepton is a great community with the rural feel you are looking for if you want to camp in nature but be a little closer to people. Cars pass, the hospital is close, but the cicadas hum, the stars are bright, and the sky is big and beautiful. Be sure to check out the following attractions if you are interested in something to do while here: Turtleback Ridge Brewery (also on Hipcamp for an overnight), Yoder's Dinner Bell Market, look for the Honey sign around the corner at Ellessare Farm, stop at Nepton Greenhouse and say hello to Nancy and Daniel, and of course shop at the Fleming County Farmer's Market during the season (open Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings).

THISTLEDOWN GATHERING PLACE: This is a very large meadow, surrounded by trees with the capacity for large groups, many tents and gatherings of lots of people. Very level, easy in and out with vehicles. Fires permitted in season. WHITETAIL SANCTUARY: Every night for decades a herd of whitetail deer graze in this pastoral setting. Drive in and out, fires in season. Suitable for a family sized tent. THE PENNINSULA: This camping spot is WALK IN ONLY. You can drive to the trailhead on grass and walk the path to the campsite (about 200 yards). One of two remote sites. It sits in the woods, on the bank of a wet weather creek which flows around two sides of the campsite. Fires permitted in season. TOTEM TREES: This site is WALK IN ONLY. A short hike down the hill from the grass parking area and you have a small spot for a tent, in the woods, surrounded by trees and a lot of standing dead ash which appear as if you are in the presence of totem poles. Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a bunkhouse, retro camper, water/electric hook-ups, and campsites. We also host weddings, retreats, and other events so advance reservations are required. For insurance purposes and the safety of our own livestock and pets, we do not allow guests to bring their pets/ESAs onto the property. Prepare to UNPLUG as we do not have cell service or wifi (there IS a landline for guests to make phone calls located in the Community Farmhouse). All guests from tent to treehouse have access to our solar-powered Community Farmhouse featuring a fully-stocked chef-inspired kitchen, restrooms, coin-op laundry, and upstairs multi-purpose room with a library and board games. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with additional cooking space including a grill, microwave, and sink (sink is closed in the winter so the pipes don’t freeze). Our seasonal bath house is generally open from April or May to October or November based on the prevailing temps. There are 4 flush toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 hot showers. The floors are concrete so we recommend shower shoes and you'll want to bring your own towels and shampoo/soap. The farm has a small playground, yard games, creeks, and a steep and rugged hiking trail that loops the mountain. We're also just 8 miles from the hiking trails at the Berea College Pinnacles, 8 miles to Owsley Fork Reservoir, 20 minutes to Anglin Falls, 12 miles to Berea, 35 minutes to Richmond, Ky, and a scenic hour to Red River Gorge. For other activities, restaurants, shopping, music, and more, we're happy to share our favorites, but highly recommend checking out the Berea Tourism website.

1 night at Red River Gorge Glamping & Cabins

This was my first glamping experience and I simply loved it! The yurts looked more magical on site and we had a cozy bonfire and toasted marshmallows by the fire. Me and my friends are glad we chickened out of camping and did glamping instead because it provided us more comfort and coziness than camping. We woke up to horses running around near the area and had another fire. Totally worth the trip!

We only had two days to explore and easily could’ve spent a full week out there and still not seen everything. The campsite was peaceful, well stocked with firewood, spacious, and perfect for unplugging. We’ll definitely be back again!

Everything about the location, setup, and scenery are absolutely perfect! The little touches of extras was unexpected and definitely welcomed! The grill rack, extra chairs, table were awesome, and the canopy came in clutch when we arrived while it was raining. We brought a couple bundles of wood just in case, and was surprised to see plenty of precut wood to use as well! The short hikes to the cliff and waterfalls are amazing, and the sights were incredible! Just be extra careful if it rains while you are there. Parts of the hike/climbing can be extremely slippery, especially on the more sloped areas. Absolutely would stay here again and again!

No wonder you have 100% on your reviews. The property is beautiful and the view overlooking the Daniel Boone National Forest is amazing. The camping spot was easy to get to with my Pickup truck and 16’ Sunray Sport Camper. The areas to hike and explore are well marked and there’s plenty of rock features to check out. Also not far from the Red River Gorge area to check out the Rock bridge and the Nada tunnel. Thank you for sharing your amazing property!

Beautiful property! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a peaceful weekend in our travel trailer. The location had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed several hiking trails in the area, grilled delicious meals under the large shelter, and relaxed by the fire with a perfect view of the stars. This location exceeded our expectations and the onsite bathroom was a bonus! We highly recommend this spot and will be back next fall!

I loved tent camping here at the beautiful Majestic Views! Instructions were very clear and the host, Jamie, was very helpful. I didn't plan a great time to go weather-wise, and it was raining pretty much from the time I arrived to when I left the next day. Still, I was determined to see my camping trip through after the drive down there and I ended up having a great time. Jamie let me stay at a spot where they was a small shelter which some hay bales were being kept under, so I was able to pitch my tent under there and avoid getting soaked. Ended up having a very cozy little set up there right next to the pasture where the horses were out. Despite being in view of the farmhouse, the spot was still very private and secluded. What a gorgeous place- the rolling hills, autumn trees, and even the grey, rainy sky were stunning. Was able to enjoy a very peaceful night. In the morning, I got to hang out a bit with one of the dogs who came down to my camping spot and ended up staying for a while- much to my joy! Very close to the Natural Bridge park so I went hiking the next day after checkout. Thank you Jamie, I hope to be back again sometime when it isn't quite as rainy!
