Tranquil- Lakefront living

1 site · RV, Tent1 acre · Bean Station, TN
This secluded spot on a private drive is a perfect little getaway location. You have lake view and lake access by foot. Vehicles can be parked on the 25 ft stretch of grass pad above the campsite, or pulled down the hill onto site at vehicle owners' discretion. Fire pit is on premise and ready for use with a walking trail to the water. Kayaks are available for rental to navigate Cherokee Lake. Trees surround you full of wild rabbits, birds and squirrels. Down at the water about 50 ft from your site you have the availability to fish, wade in the water, Kayak, or sit and watch the ducks, geese, turtles and more. This is a private drive but has four sites so please respect other tenants who have come to enjoy seclusion and serenity during their stay. We are in a rural area about 22 minutes from main town. However, there are restaurants, a Blue Bell ice cream parlor, a grocery store and post office all within 8 minutes. We are 12 minutes from one of the best Disc Golf courses, 25 minutes from Parks/trails/waterfalls, and only about an hour from major tourist sites in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg/ Knoxville/Bristol Speedway. You will have solitude during your stay but opportunities for communication and aid from the host is available. The site can be busier during holiday breaks as this is off a main road and is on Cherokee lake so noise echos on the water, and there may be other renters checking in other units just a heads up. HAPPY TRAVELING TO YOU :)

Creekside Camping

10 sites · RVs, Tents50 acres · Tazewell , TN
We are just starting out as homesteaders. We have 50 beautiful acres to explore. In time we hope to have Copper Top Cabins, an event barn and a working farm. Come enjoy the peace and serenity that God has bestowed on us. Step out of the rat race and enjoy slow pace of the country, the scenery and animals. Or go fishing or ride your motorcycle on the many nearby motorcycle rides like Tail of the Dragon, The Mini Dragon, Copperhead Road and many others. The locals are friendly and the scenery is breathtaking. Come and relax and take in the fresh country air.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent near the creek. Enjoy the sounds of rippling water, beautiful night sky and a communal campfire if you’d like. There are few amenities as we are just starting off. But we are flexible, accommodating and will allow use of our porta-potty and water well, if you need. Just ask for drinking water as we collect it in jugs at the spring for ourselves and will be happy to share. We have over 50 acres to explore and even an old log cabin if you care to brave the woods to find it.

Gray Hills

8 sites · RVs, Tents150 acres · Barbourville, KY
Welcome to Gray Hills, a tranquil retreat that covers 150 acres in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in southeast Kentucky. Easy to reach, yet off the beaten path—just 20 minutes from I-75, nestled in a quiet holler—this destination is perfectly tailored for families, friends, and those in search of solitude, providing a rejuvenating escape from everyday pressures.  Experience the soothing sounds of nature while making unforgettable memories.  For the adventurous, take a hike to the ridgeline for breathtaking views, or spend a relaxing day fishing in our stocked 2-acre pond. Our primitive campsites offer a peaceful, off-grid experience surrounded by rolling hills, quiet forests, and scenic views. Choose from a variety of unique sites: Pondside – Set up camp by the water, where frogs sing at dusk and mist rises off the surface in the early morning. Great for fishing, relaxing, or watching wildlife. Feel free to bring your kayak and enjoy the water, but please wear a life vest and skip the swim. Kayak rentals offered—availability may vary. Hilltop – Wake up to views of the Appalachian foothills and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets that light up the sky. These elevated spots offer privacy, cool breezes, and a true backcountry feel. Dirt roads, wild land, and no concrete in sight—all sites are primitive—no hookups or modern amenities—just raw, natural beauty. Whether you’re hammock camping, pitching a tent, or rolling in with a minimal setup, this is your spot to slow down and unplug. Fire pits at each site and natural trails throughout the property make it easy to explore and unwind. Nature takes over once you leave the main highway—cell service gets pretty thin, so plan accordingly! The one-lane dirt road is bumpy on purpose to keep speeds safe for walkers. It’s passable for most vehicles, just take it slow and don’t overload. Only the campsites are cleared—everything else is left wild for the local wildlife. We don’t manicure the woods, and we like it that way. Nature’s all around us, bugs included—bring your repellent! Just a heads-up: A nearby train may roll through at any time—it's part of the holler charm! Primitive camping isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. But if you love it rugged and real, welcome to Gray Hills.
