Welcome to Little Cabin, where you're invited to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the countryside. Nestled on 25 acres adorned with a tranquil pond, our location offers ample space for your tent or RV. Situated just 30 minutes from Madison, Indiana, and a mere three miles from Stream Cliff, we provide convenient access to nearby attractions. Additionally, our proximity to Louisville, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis, approximately an hour from each, makes us an ideal retreat. There are a couple of important details to note: 1. Please be aware that we have honey bees onsite. 2. We have two cats and a dog which roam around 3. Regrettably, we do not offer hookups or restroom facilities. We look forward to hosting your stay at Little Cabin!

Cabin - sleeps 4 - with AC/Heat & Mini Fridge and hydrant water outside. No pets inside cabin. OR camp spot with 30 amp electric/hydrant water. If you're interested in using cabin & 30 amp service for camper, contact us before booking. Additional fee applies. There are covered areas you can take shelter under in case of poor weather. Bathroom consists of "outhouse." TP provided. No WiFi. Fish CATCH & RELEASE only!!!! Surveillance is now in place to aid in the prosecution situations. Two picnic tables are included, 1 plastic serving table and 6 chairs to sit in. One campfire ring (please do not burn trash/cig butts in rings) with grate to cook on. Firewood $6 per bundle paypable on Ven mo. Do not cut any of my trees down or go foraging - backside of pond is a wetland and private & protected property. Several docks around the pond to fish from - use at your own risk. There are no dedicated "walking trails," but you can walk around the backside of the one pond (we keep it mowed) and wander down the long lane. No official "cooking area" - bring a grill, cooking stove or cook over the fire. Please do not cook under any roof, near cabin or on plastic table. Please pack all your trash out. We don't have trash pick up here. All dog/animals feces can be flung in the field/tall grass! Lots of big catfish, bass & bluegill - see our F B page for videos of the fish being fed! If you're done fishing for the night or don't fish, bags of fish food are available for $1! It's fun to watch them! All food is stored in containers in shack. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. Also like hot dogs. You understand that swimming, camping, hiking and fishing is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, camping, hiking and fishing. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, camping, hiking or fishing if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, camps, hikes or fishes while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, camping, hiking or fishing. All Hipcamp Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Hipcamp Guests and Hipcamp Host.

Nestled on nine wooded acres conveniently located just one mile off I-69 in Daleville, Indiana, this relaxing and peaceful property also features a stunning five-acre pond. Unplug and unwind, fish, kayak and soak in the beauty of nature. The pond is fully stocked with a variety of fish, inviting anglers of all skill levels to cast a line. We do ask that you respect the catch and release rule. Surrounded by trees and a magnitude of rocks, this former stone quarry feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy peaceful mornings by the water, afternoons filled with outdoor activities and quiet evenings by the fire pit under a starlit sky. Explore the grounds and trails where wildlife abounds—keep an eye out for deer, our resident blue herons, birds, ducks and other woodland creatures that call Cattail Springs home. You may also have a friendly feline visit from our cats Sandy and Zuko or Freddy the neighboring cat. They are all very social and love attention from new friends! Book your stay with us today and experience the tranquility of nature at Cattail Springs. If you need to stream your favorite shows or connect to the office while here, we also offer free Wi-Fi. CONVENIENCES + ATTRACTIONS Cattail Springs is located in Daleville, Indiana on a county line road with bordering towns of Chesterfield and Anderson. The addresses provided may be in any of these three towns that are within just a few miles of one another. For gray water disposal and showers, Pilot is one mile from the property (15876 W. Commerce Road, Daleville, IN 47334). Catch up on laundry at EZ Wash, which is about a mile-and-a-half from the property (323 Anderson Road, Anderson, IN 46017). Firewood can be purchased at the local gas stations. Bait can be purchased from Badger Bait & Tackle (121 W. Plum Street, Chesterfield, IN 46017). For groceries or supplies, Harvest Market is a small-town grocer about a mile from Cattail Springs (205 Federal Drive, Chesterfield, IN 46017) which has the basics. Exit 226, one exit south, offers Meijer, WalMart, pet food stores and much more. Harrah's Hoosier Park Casino Racetrack is four miles from the property for horse racing and gaming (4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson, IN 46013). Mounds State Park is located two miles from the property and features beautiful trails as well as ten earthworks built by the Adena-Hopewell people, prehistoric Indians. The park is named for its largest earthwork, the Great Mound, which is believed to have been constructed around 160 B.C. (4306 Mounds Rd, Anderson, IN 46017). Entrance fee is typically $7. For dining, exit 234 offers a variety of traditional fast food options (Starbucks, Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, Culvers, Pizza King, Bird's Smokehouse and more). Exit 226, one exit south of Cattail Springs, offers a more robust variety of restaurants, including McAlister's, Chic-fil-A, Montana Mike's, Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel and much more. If you love donuts, check out Deluxe Donuts (520 S Scatterfield Road, Anderson, IN 46012). They bring out fresh donuts again around 6 p.m.

We have owned this property since 2003.  We are now opening this wonderland up to select few campers to enjoy what we have.  You will have the place to yourself.Hike, swim, relax at our home away from home.  NO cell service at all.  Learn more about this land:This campsite has 20 amp power. Enough to run a small AC and unit.  City Water available.  The site has a fire ring. Wood for sale or bring your own. This site backs up to the lake. There is a sand beach within 20 feet. Nice Dock to set on or fish. Catch and release. Quiet hours from 11p to 7am.  You are just 11 miles from Madison.  Madison has many festivals all summer and fall.  Close enough to drive yet out of the crowded campgrounds and noise.  Bring your floats and enjoy the lake during summer. Must wear an approved life jacket.  Kids must be supervised as there is NO life guard on duty.Fires must be put out when done.   Major Holidays require 3 nights stay.
