There are often festivals, open Music Jams and community events. "Civilization" is a 30 minute drive to find movies, grocery, shopping, and a public pool. The sky appears to be scattered with diamonds on a clear night and during season the fireflies light the trees up like twinkling lights at Christmas! Learn more about this land: We have an 18 acre mini farm, close to a small town and near a river. We have two small ponds that can be fished in during the early spring, wildlife, and birds to watch. There are 6 very nice areas for camp sites that allow for privacy and relaxation. Each site has a fire pit and table. We also have just put in a new out house and have a port-a-potty for our campers to use. We are 10 minutes from Interstate 70 and only 30 minutes from Indianapolis. Weekend Trip to Apple acres

Johnathan’s spot totally exceeded my expectations. This is a terrific spot for RVers, given the available hookups. I just had a roof tent, but the extra high carport kept everything from getting wet in a blow-through rainstorm, and the fire pit was a lovely way to wind down after a long day on the road. I highly recommend the breakfast add-on to get a little fuel in you. It’s nothing fancy, but it is tasty and delivered when you need it. It’s a beautiful, quiet property — wish I’d stayed longer than one night to explore the trails around the property. Also, my dog loved it.

Jonathan’s place was great. Very nice site, with lots of amenities. We have a 35’ motorhome and had plenty of room for it and our toad. We were there for a wedding on property also. Jonathan and his family have an event center on the property too. While at the reception, I left the table for a bit. When I returned there was Jonathan playing tic tac toe with our son. Vice nice place ran by great people.

The barn/bar is adorable and Richard was very friendly and helpful. Camping down the Ridgeline and along the dirt road seemed like it would not be my cup of tea, but in fact, it was very private and very spread apart. I would definitely camp there again! We enjoyed music both evenings and the food at the barn was delicious. I would love if they had a few more choices on the menu.

We had a group of 10 with 3 tents and it worked out wonderfully! It’s close enough to Cinci for a one night trip and far enough away to be quiet and see the stars. There was a live band the night we were there that we could hear very well from our site. I advise checking the music schedule before booking! Will definitely book again! We all had a great time!

The outside space is beautiful, the bistro area is very cool and the walking areas along the river and around the grounds are all interesting. Just so many features in one place, it kind of blows your mind. I would definitely come again.

This is a perfect spot to camp simply. Prep was easy - just packed up our tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bags, food, and a change of clothes and we were ready to hit the road. Already onsite were seats, firewood, a fire pit, and plenty of room for so many great activities. My son loved flying his kite, our Hosts were kind enough to let him pitch in and fetch their remote control aircraft, and we enjoyed feeding the fish and riding the boat in their pond. The hot breakfast in the morning - delivered to the tent - was perfect. Unfortunately our dog was a little yippy and got away from us a few times, but otherwise it was such a great experience and we look forward to returning soon!

While in town for the annual pro disc golf tour at Idlewild about 25 minutes south, we found this listing and think it's now the standard year to year for us! We camped primitively, and it was SUCH an easy experience thanks to Richard. No fuss...able to get water at the drinking hole and making note to belly up next time we're there and relax! Super grateful for an extraordinary value w/o hassle or a ton of other folks to contend with like you would elsewhere!
