Water is also available at each camper site. There is also a dump station is on site. On the same property is a very nice public pool and one of the country's premier Disc Golf courses. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Just a half mile off of the Mississippi River. There is a single shower/restroom open for campers located on the North end of the pool house.

Nice quiet RV spot by a pond. Worth a stop even in winter with limited services. Directions were OK, just be sure to turn left at the house at the end of the road and you'll see the camping spots.

2 nights at Quiet Country Farmland
What a beautiful experience! My husband and I had the perfect getaway at the little red cabin. Betsy and Dan were awesome hosts and made sure we had such a good time. Waking up to views of the sunrise over the pond and sheep in the nearby field was magic.
We cooked all of our meals over the campfire and stargazed at night. I asked about animals and Dan was kind enough to take us on a tour of the farm! What a cool experience. We also made sure to stop in town on our way out to grab some of their meat at the Trading Co. to take home. Can’t beat the price or quality! Don’t miss that awesome shop with all kinds of local treats!
We took advantage of the coffee and popcorn provided and the cozy blankets for the campfire at night. We love camping but also love having heat and a cozy bed to sleep in. This was the perfect middle ground.
Make sure you bring all of your cooking and cleaning items if you plan to make meals there. There were disposable cups, plates, utensils, etc. provided.
The PERFECT place to relax and recharge. We can’t wait to visit again!

1 night at Quiet Country Farmland
From the second that I arrived Dan and Betsy were the absolute best hosts anyone could ask for. The cabin offered a quiet and cozy experience along with an amazing outdoor experience. Stunning views mixed with a calming atmosphere made an incredible stay. Not only was this experience delightful because of the distance into the country, it was amazing because it is a fully functional farm. Dan was able to give me a complete tour of the farm which included : horses, sheep, pigs and cows. He has a world class facility and the best part is he let me purchase %100 grass fed lamb and beef. Overall the stay was absolutely fantastic and I will continue to come back to learn more about where my food is grown and made and find a calming stay where I know I can connect with nature!

This stay was incredible! Tamitha and her husband were amazing and accommodating hosts. Their property was beautiful and the animals clearly well loved. Tamitha went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and that my daughter had a wonderful experience (she was a big fan of the donkeys, especially Ernie). They also had a wonderful lake about a quarter mile away from them that was perfect for swimming my dogs. We will be back and wish we had more that a quick nights stop!

Site 6 was well shaded. The single bathroom/shower was a short walk from our campsite. The door is propped open so no code is needed. Friday night the campground was fairly deserted. It got more lively the next night! The mosquitoes were fairly aggressive until the breeze came up on Saturday. Unfortunately, the pool closed last weekend. I was glad we found that out when we called before we arrived. (We booked our site, #6 but the confirmation recorded it as #1 so we called to check on that and were told that it is a glitch but not to worry.). We appreciated the free firewood since the site is a bit more than we usually spend. There were street lights and cameras nearby. Disc golfers came through every so often. There was fairly regular foot and car traffic below our site. We explored Keokuk and Hamilton. Be sure to check out the view from Rand Park!

Weekend Trip to PeaceTree Farms
We stayed in the cottage and loved it! It was very clean and comfortable. The lake is great for swimming and kayaking. It’s so quiet and peaceful at the farm. Perfect for stargazing at night and watching beautiful sunrises. Katie is a wonderful host! She gave us some of her tomatoes when we forgot to bring our own. Highly recommend Peacetree Farm!

Wildcat City Park Campground is clean and well maintained. Did not have any issues. Other campers were courteous, no loud music/noise even with it being a holiday weekend.
Some tree branches near drive need to be trimmed. Understand why the shorter hose on the dump station, but it could be a bit longer.

The cottage is clean, complete with all you need except for a functional kitchen, but it's clean, great view, and the lake has a lot of big fish! Will definitely come back in the future! The host, Katie, and Steve are amazing people! Hopefully, a fire pit will be available near the cottage in the future.

Although we only stayed a night while passing through, the Double Hearts Ranch was a great experience. Tamitha was very helpful in getting us situated and the shared patio space with a bathroom was wonderful. We'll definitely come back when we are in the area and highly recommend it.

Jensen Woods is a camp, not a camp site. It is not just a sleeping spot. The difference in our stay was the access to showers, bathrooms, fishing, nice scenery, a small archery range, and a lot of space. The sites are large, spacious, have electric and water, and there is a dump station close by for black and grey.
If you are going to stay in your RV for much of the trip, this is a great summer place to visit. However, during the summer, Illinois is the happy home to ticks. We use a grass covering (9x6) at our steps landing, but we still found it necessary to spray, check, and actually had to pull out one tick that had nestled its way into one of us. We would recommend this camp for nature lovers (during the summer), and everyone else outside of tick season (check google for more info).
Finally, your stay at Jensen Woods supports their mission/ministry to provide youth retreats/camps during the summer months. So, your stay does help a good cause. Keep Camping!

Weekend Trip to PeaceTree Farms
This place was one of my favorite stays so far on this app. The host was absolutely charming and so helpful, the view from the cottage has to be the best on the property like a post card. The lake was the perfect size for hanging out by. We could see so many stars, and the kayak/canoe included was amazing. It was just quiet and lovely and so relaxing.
