Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water. Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4) We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. I’ve been on the road for about 4 months and Elizabeth’s place was a very welcome break from the state parks and private campgrounds I’d been staying at. Nice, quiet (not crowded) farm atmosphere and a great place to rockhound with other places to go rock collecting nearby. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go through the 50+ pounds of really nice druzy quartz I’m bringing home.

Beautiful lake, accessible bathhouse, and wooded RV sites. It was a great get-a-way and fun to be on a farm with gorgeous horses. The nearest town is about a 17 minutes drive away, so bring plenty of food or block out time to drive into town.

Staff at the main building are excellent and very helpful, bath house is clean and nice. Kayak rental is perfect and a nice way to spend a fall day, and a good 2 mile loop trail for hiking is enjoyable.

Keep in mind this is a farm, so you will find equipment and farm stuff about. Beautiful property with access to lots of activities featuring rock hunting. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We will be back when time allows. They offer a variety of festivals and learning opportunities from time to time. Elizabeth has worked to offer all types of camping experiences. The communal outdoor kitchen is an awesome way to meet your fellow campers and enjoy a morning coffee.

We love Hawks Bluff! We have tent camped and have RV'd there! The owner Liz is a sweetheart and her staff are amazing people! We are so blessed to have found Hawks Bluff! There is so much to find there on the surface and by digging for druzy crystal's and agate. Mark, the chief rock cutter and polisher has mean skills and is a great guy to boot! Tha k you all for such an amazing time and fun!

Nice piece of property, sites are staggered well so you don’t feel like you’re totally on top of others. Bath house was clean and nice, we rented kayaks and spent the afternoon on the lake. One lane road in and out, so be prepared for oncoming vehicles. We rented site 8 in September so I assume that is off season, was pretty private with only 3 other trailers.

Electric sites are very close together and resident dogs did come around our site. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Mules, goats, cows are great, rocks are amazing, creek was waist deep+ in parts. Would recommend and happily stay again.

We tried a new campground this weekend! It didn’t start great due to a hostile neighbor! We moved sites, and it got much better! It was a small campground, but they were more than accommodating! Four mules that loved strawberries, lots of goats (one tried to ram Bane!), cows, dogs, cats, a pretty cool hiking trail, and lots of collectible rocks containing geodes!! We learned a lot about rocks and made some friends! We will definitely go back! Thanks, Hawks Bluff campground!

Great time! Rock rocks rocks! Creek creek creek! The campground is on a bluff and so has lots of cool rocks and fun small trails. The creek was a nice hike down the road and was a fun clean spot to cool down or walk in and down. The outdoor communal kitchen was nice and fully stocked with cookware. Elizabeth was great and her farm dogs were friendly. Great place for couples families with kids and anyone who likes a wooded farm setting. Great time!
