Weekend Trip to Spokane Western Dude Ranch Barn BnB

Easy to check in, came late and Mike helped provide me some light so I could set up my tent. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was pretty much as advertised. It was a bit for me to sleep because dogs were be barking at random times thru the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem.

-The pool is a community pool. The host has kids that will use the pool as well. No Jumping, Diving or rough housing in the pool. If you cannot swim, please use a life jacket or floating device. Please ask Host if one needs to be provided. We just want to keep everyone safe. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!! Children need to be always accompanied by adults. Guest use pool at own risk -Drinks and smoking allowed just clean up after selves. (Smoking to be done outside only) -The Dance Floor is available anytime. The floor is a wreck, it is our next project to fix) Crank the music and enjoy yourself! It does light up. It just needs to be plugged in. (in Repair) Shoes preferred and use at own risk. -If you enjoy horseshoes, take it upon yourself to use and enjoy. Please make sure the horseshoes are put back. They also light up. -The Fire Pit is open for use as well. (that is also community with hosts). You may need to rummage for firewood. Fire pits are only allowed during open burning season. -The Hot Tub is not available for guests. -Tents are welcome if more space is needed for the family. Please do not pitch on green grass. -Animals are welcome. All animals must be vaccinated. Prefer dogs over 1 year old. We enjoy our doggy very much. Please clean poop up if done on green grass. We are located a 10-minute drive north of downtown Moscow, on beautiful Moscow Mountain. We have 3 acres that includes our house, the studio (your home base), garage, greenhouse, and a couple storage sheds. The studio is most comfortable for just 2 people, but there is an extra foam queen mattress and bedding available. Our property is surrounded by and dotted with trees, with a peek-a-boo view of the Palouse. We have swaths of grassy yard, an orchard, and several raised beds in our garden. We also have a seasonal pond that is home to Mr. and Mrs. Mallard in the spring and summer. Take in the sunrise from the deck with coffee in hand, and sunset off the back patio. Enjoy a quiet, tranquil setting with easy access to town. Popular mountain biking and hiking trails are a 5-minute drive away. People also cross-country ski on the trails. Look for wildlife tracks if you make it high enough away from the well-used trails. You'll see deer, moose, and even cougar or bobcat.
