Easy to check in, came late and Mike helped provide me some light so I could set up my tent. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was pretty much as advertised. It was a bit for me to sleep because dogs were be barking at random times thru the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem.

I love camping on Matt’s land!! Nice and quiet. They leave the light on for you 😂 I’m scared of the dark so glad they leave the light on for me. The best part is the kittens!!!!! I love them! I recommend Matt’s place if your ever in the area and want the farm life with the quietness. Love how the cows moo when I get home from work. I moo back 😂

Great site and host. Easy to get to from the highway. Quiet location with all you need, water, electricity, fire pit and picnic table. Steve is a helpful and welcoming host.

the site was good for a short term stay. It’s graveled, level, water and 50 amp. No dump site. Good views of the ranch and mountains in the distance. Wouldn’t be able to set up the awning and tether it with stakes because of the gravel surface. We were parked next to the garage and provided privacy.

We will greet you when we are able do so. We purchased this wonderful 40 acre ranch in our retirement years. We had never done ranching or farming before and wanted a new experience with this gift called life. Being long time hard working Alaskans and living the Alaskan Adventure we could see no reason to be in our golden years and not have another adventure. Our many different animals provide us with entertainment and a purpose. Mini Donkeys asking for a bum rub and braying for breakfast always brings a smile. Alpacas, Llamas and Valais Black Nose Sheep, provides us with beautiful rugs from their own fiber that we sell in the Seven Stars Store. The rest of the hats, gloves, blankets and wonderful socks come from Peru. Mini horses that love to be brushed and even have their hair braided all make for an unusual experience. Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.
