Perfect for rugged camping but with shelter & a shower! Feels secluded, but you still have cell service & civilization nearby in case you need anything. Also lots of historical sites nearby. Caught a few fish in the pond & enjoyed cooking over the fire. Cabin & bathroom were clean and owners were extremely nice! Would love to come back in summer so I can enjoy the flowers!

I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The farm setting was absolutely serene — nestled along a river and within striking distance of the mountains. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, from the well-kept amenities to the little touches that made it feel both comfortable and connected to nature.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help me plan things to do in the area — from scenic spots to local hidden gems; they went out of their way to make my stay extra special.
Between the peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and top-notch amenities, this place was the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

My kiddo (12), and I had so much fun camping here! Robby was an amazing host! He provided air mattresses that he even inflated for us! The renet was in perfect condition, and very clean! It sits right on the edge of the woods, and we went to sleep listening to the frogs, and woke up to the sounds of the birds! The place is absolutely beautiful, and very well maintained! The view of the mountain is fantastic, but it wasn't quite as beautiful as the night sky full of stars! 💜

A very comfortable camping set up. Quite a lot of space in the woods to ourselves and between outhouses, with a large clearing in the middle for kids to enjoy. Kitchen and dining area under the barn is very well equipped. I didn't need to bring any extra cooking or dining equipment.
Took us a little time to figure out the hot water in the shower but it does make a difference when it's on. Lots of products and some toilet paper provided. The wooden cabin was a great set up for sleeping. Very well ventilated and little fairy lights for nice ambiance. We took our air mattresses and sheets and it was like a little camp hotel. There is a road nearby but it's completely silent at night and pretty quiet during the day too. Horses on the property make great scenery. All in all clean and well maintained. Would just recommend taking a bath mat for the shower floor and tea towels for the kitchen for maximum comfort. Host was very easy to contact at any point and very helpful.

2 nights at Rolling Ridge Stays
The hosts were friendly and checked in to make sure we always had what we needed. The land is beautiful, we enjoyed our gorgeous morning view of the water and the sound of nature. We made great connections with the other two couples staying on the land around the lake. The Birdhouse had just the right amount of space for us. We appreciated the extra foldable chair and table which came in handy for cooking. The video with directions to our site was also incredibly helpful because we arrived very late at night and were still able to navigate our way around the lake with our wagon full of supplies. Lots of spiders here, they didn’t bother us at all. The bug net, and screened windows allowed us to enjoy a refreshing and lovely breeze. There is a train that passes through a few times in the night.

This is a beautiful set up with a cute little cabin on a pond. We had fun and you can tell there was a lot of thought put into this place to make it as convenient as possible. This host was very friendly. We def recommend!
