Some of the features include a picnic table, large lighted firepit, hammock, wood swing, etc. We also have swings sets and a few other features for the kiddos. Oak Grove Campsite is located approximately 30 min from downtown Savannah and 40 min from Tybee Island. The site has 30/50 amp and clean water hookups. We do not have sever hookups but here is a dump station located 15min from site.

Steve has a beautiful, big back yard near Savannah ready for a visit. Just 20 minutes from everything you can't find a better place to park your rig if you're in the Savannah area. Easy in and out for any size camper with plenty of space to camp without feeling like you're encroaching on the family. Definitely a great place to stay!

10/10 recommend! We are first time tent campers with two kids and booked this thinking it would be a good and easy intro to camping for us. It was easy to get to, the host responsive, has a bathroom within walking distance and lit up at night and easy to see with cute twinkle lights in the trees. The best part is the animals. I didn’t realize we would literally be sleeping in the field with donkeys and miniature horses. They were absolutely adorable and the kids loved petting them. They are like big dogs lol. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and they were all standing outside the door just waiting to be pet. On the other side behind a fence there were adorable cows and goats. We also saw two kittens, dogs and a puppy. There was a concrete mixer Tonka truck there that my son loved playing with as well as a ton of gems and rocks under the tree with a gem identification book that my daughter loved going through to try and identify. There is also a large tree swing. We used the fire pit to roast s’mores, they have firewood bundles right there where you can Venmo the host. We also ordered a dozen eggs from them. We had a great experience and will definitely be back. Great family memories the kids will never forget!

We had a great time staying at the farm! The animals were awesome for the little ones to see every day, a huge field was perfect for tossing a frisbee, playing croquet, or lounging and gazing at the stars Electrical, water hookups (repaired dripping), and dumping station were all operating fully with no issues. We saw Janna everyday doing work around the property and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend staying at their homestead.

Weekend Trip to A Place to Sleep

Just as described! A quiet and private backyard for sleeping within easy distance of downtown areas like Little Five Points. Backing up to a kudu patch gives privacy and quiet. Two big trees to tie up your dog if needed. Electrical outlet was easy to find and I felt safe all night. Not a campground, but just a place to sleep, just like the description says.

This was our first RV journey, and it did not disappoint. The farm animals and ander everywhere and love people...just be sure any pets you bring are ok with them. Janna was extremely hospitable, and she had us help her feed one of the Highland cows... another example of this not just being a stay, but an experience!
