We were vanlifers for many years and finally settled down and got a house. We have a 30+ foot parking spot with full hookups. Off the road, behind our home. Parking area is 12 foot wide, but has an additional 5 feet of grass on one side if you have a slide-out. Full parking lot behind the property to make it an easy pull-in to our yard from the lot for any size rig. Fence closes behind you to keep you fully enclosed and private. Shared yard space with us in the main house, free use of our beautiful backyard with fairy lights and mango trees. Take as many free mangoes as you like (when they're in season)! Yard is fully fenced in and pet-friendly, but we do have a pet cat on the property and ask that your outdoor pet be monitored when in the yard. Located just 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, this hideaway is nestled into a cozy neighborhood under twin oaks and a mango tree. A taste of the “old Florida,” this neighborhood has untouched biodiversity complete with lots of yummy fruit trees, 100 year old buildings, and an artesian well (which your hosts have turned into a glorious, 70 degree bath tub). Hang your hammocks, lay out in the sun or moonlight, take a walk under the stars as the neighbor owls hoot, light an open fire and stay tucked away somewhere so close to the world, yet seemingly so remote. Cruise over to the beach for a surf lesson or to the river for a paddle boarding adventure (lessons and/or board rentals available). For RV and Van life folks we’ve got a 30 amp power plug (requires an extension cord) and city water hook up (BYO hose). Bring your furry friends. Our yard is not fenced so we ask that unless you have your own fence, you keep them on a leash and out of the garden! For a fee we will allow dumping in our septic tank *ask about availability and accessibility*. We offer a complete camp site, without the hassle of nosy RV neighbors. The Home on the property is an old concrete block Florida beauty built in the 40s, used by your hosts as the perfect sanctuary for yoga and massage. Sophia (your host) is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and owns Sophlow Yoga, a Local Yoga Studio and Surf School. She loves gardening, and has a complete apothecary of herbs, salves and tinctures for your daily needs. Both she and her boyfriend are Native Floridians, and are more than happy to share local knowledge of their home town of Wabasso Beach. Marshall (your other host & Sophia’s other half) is an avid waterman. He is a Sailboat Captain, happy to take you cruising on the open sea or fishing for local catch, as well as a Master Carpenter with experience in plumbing, electric and mechanical handy work. He specializes in renovating small spaces such as sailboats and RVs with his attention to detail and meticulous woodwork, so you can leave not only rejuvenated, but renovated! Both of your hosts hope to give you the vacation experience of your dreams, and will support with any services they can, or by simply leaving you in peace.

Weekend Trip to Twin Oaks Garden Retreat

If you are looking for a chill vibe with old Florida charm and convenient access to the lagoon (a 5 minutes walk) or the beach (a 5 minutes drive) this is the place for you😃🚣‍♂️🌊. Sophia is very easy going and fun to be around. Her and her partner, Marshal, know all the best surfing and fishing spots. Just ask.

1 night at Twin Oaks Garden Retreat

Sophia is a lovely host, Twin Oaks has a cool surf vibe. Sophia hooked me up with electricity and water so I could plug my van in for power and fill the water tanks. location is perfect if you are visiting the Sebastian Inlet area. Tiki Bar a few minutes away! Sophia teaches surfing, yoga and has a small massage studio on the property so you can book a massage after your surf session! It’s a perfect Hip Camp if you’re looking to park your van for a night or two very close to the beach. They just started hosting campers, but it will just get better over time.
