Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

David's set up is so nice we visited twice! This was our second visit to Panhandle Paradise and we loved it just as much as we did the first time. The outdoor shower is so nice and convenient. The covered picnic area is great for cooking and eating outside. The only advice I have is to bring bug spray! We got eaten alive by mosquitoes on the first night (after a rain shower). After that night, they weren't bad at all, but the damage was done. We lived with anti-itch cream for the rest of our trip. It was still wonderful, though!

This pole barn camping spot is in a great location half way between Port St Joe and Cape San Blas. It’s large enough for almost any RV or camper. Full hookup, a screened porch, and one of the best features is that there’s a pay ice machine right beside it that also has filtered water…$3 for 20 pounds of ice, and .25c for a gallon of water. Lindsey is very responsive, and a joy to correspond with. We will certainly stay here again!

We are seasoned campers but this was our first Hipcamp experience. It was fantastic! Jen is an awesome host! The property is private and so close to the beach! About 200 ft to the whitest sand I've ever seen. Our dog, Levi, had almost as much fun as we did. It's a deeded beach so we saw the same folks most days and made some great new friends. The property. The fresh seafood is out of this world. Be sure to visit the St. Joe Seafood Market and restaurant. Just a few yards down from the property, is the Trading Post which had a good stock for groceries and beach equipment. They even had a small liquor store that was surprisingly well stocked. Scallops has gas, groceries, and souvenirs. Port St. Joe is a beautiful little town with shops and trendy restaurants. You must stop by the Bayside Bakery & Cafe for delicious cakes and pastries. Our favorite restaurant was Cone Heads on the north end of Cape San Blas. It was as funky as the name and the food was superb. Unusual drinks too. Try the Traditional Expresso Martini. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this little spot and our great host. We are coming back in the spring! Thanks so much Jen!

Super thanks Derek for allowing me to stay on your property! If anyone is visiting the Apalachicola Florida region, I highly recommend this spot if you are look for a cheap spot to park overnight. It is gated, but Derek gave instructions on how to access. The only negatives are the area is heavy with mosquitoes as there is stagnant water in the back. The other is the cell signal for me (Verizon) was poor.
