We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. What a gorgeous spot. I was immediately regretful that I only booked one night. Timothy was great - available though the app even when I was trying to locate the spot. I was distracted looking at house numbers and missed the giant hipcamp sign lol. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night and morning, and next time I’ll be bringing my paddle board and staying a few more days. Highly recommend this beautiful spot on the water.

We loved everything about our stay at Destination Sunset. The campsite was even better than the photos - absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and the roads in and out were easy in our 33’ class A. Tim is an amazing host, and all the neighbors we encountered were super friendly. Tim even loaned my husband the proper lure for fishing - no success with reds, but he caught a ton of catfish and had a blast. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Tim!

Tim’s site is breathtaking! It truly is beautiful, peaceful, private, and feels like an island getaway. Reservations were easy and straightforward. Tim is a great communicator and was immediately responsive to questions and requests. Our 2 dogs love the huge free-range, fenced yard. They had a great time running around and we also enjoyed walking the yard. It is beautifully landscaped and very lush. We had a really wonderful time and are already planning our return to this gem!

We loved and truly enjoyed our stay at this camp site. This property is beautiful and well maintained. Tim and the neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. The views, fishing, and kayak/canoe activities were awesome here! Our kids already want to go back and the dogs really enjoyed running around freely in the fenced in property. Highly recommended this campsite and we hope to return soon!

Perry and Randy are gracious hosts. The spring fed pond is a refreshing way to cool off and soak in the healing minerals. Cute little frogs will greet you in the bath house. There’s plenty of room to spread out in the camping areas. This area is a truly must see wild and wonderful part of Florida near Silver Springs State park!

We booked this spot to celebrate my birthday. It is our favorite Hipcamp place that we’ve ever visited! The property is unbelievably gorgeous with everything you need to make your camping stay perfect. Tim was extremely fast to reply to my questions. We watched dolphins each morning and evening and the fishing was the best. It was very relaxing and we can’t wait to return. Our doggos absolutely loved the free range fun. I have to admit that the star of the trip was meeting the neighbors, Scott and Kelly. They graciously invited us over for cocktails and let our pups run in their yard. They took us out on their beautiful dock to fish. Truly, rare humans! We loved the camping but also can’t wait to go back and see our new friends! Can’t recommend this place enough. Who would think this is Jax?

First of all, the camp site is beautiful and on a 3/4 acre of fenced property equipped with hook ups, canoes, a fishing dock and complete privacy. If you’re looking for a place that is both quiet and beautiful, this is for your. My kids spent their day catching blue crab, they caught 14 in total. We also enjoyed fishing and canoeing. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend staying here. Tim was a wonderful and kind host.
