Our little piece of paradise has so much serenity with a fully wooded landscape while its only miles from fun things to do: surfing, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, paddling, swimming and more!
If you're lucky enough to experience the wildlife that shows up regularly, you could have the pleasure of seeing wild animals like: turkeys, deer, pigs, armadillos, hawks, dragonflies, butterflies, turtles and many others.
We're proud of our oasis and thrilled to share it with folks that appreciate protected land as much as we do. The land is part of the resource corridor, which is protected wetlands and it is environmentally sensitive and ecologically significant. This means that it is an ecosystem that supports the wildlife and cannot be touched or manipulated in any way.
Lucy's place is our community space for you and your family's use. It has lots of seating, plenty of places to relax, a grill and outdoor sink for cooking, and a gas fireplace to enjoy the scenery at night. A hot tub awaits you, which is open to the stars and great after a day of lounging or fun out and about.
We are close to everything but far enough for you to relax after a fun day of exploring. Daytona Speedway is a 30 min. drive. You can be on the beach in 20 min. or putting your boat/jet skis in the river in 15 min.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.

Where the camper is located there is a half mile trail through the forest, across from our driveway there is a 2.6 mile nature trail, a 15 mile biking trail, place to launch a kayak or boat, and we are close to wekiva and rock springs. not to mention a free 15 mile nature drive on the weekends just minutes away. plus we arent far from downtown Mount Dora. We’re close to local trails for hiking and biking, as well as downtown Sanford and Lake Mary. Theme parks and the beach are also less than an hour away.
Red Barn Farm is ideal for guests who enjoy authenticity, family farm life, and a comfortable tent camping experience close to town while still feeling connected to nature.

We are located 2 1/2 miles down a wide county maintained dirt road. It is very quiet and private out here on the ranch. There are no close neighbors in the vicinity of our property. On the property, we have an exotic bird sanctuary about 200 feet from the RV site. At times you will think you are in the Amazon jungle. The birds are very playful, entertaining to watch them play throughout the day. You are more than welcome to go and interact with the birds. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear.
There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe.
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch.
We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require.
Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona.
We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry.
There is a ton of space to park your vehicle and trailer if needed.
We are on well water out here in the country.

A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

Where the camper is located there is a half mile trail through the forest, across from our driveway there is a 2.6 mile nature trail, a 15 mile biking trail, place to launch a kayak or boat, and we are close to wekiva and rock springs. not to mention a free 15 mile nature drive on the weekends just minutes away. plus we arent far from downtown Mount Dora. The property sits on 50 acres with natural beauty. This is a great location to relax and unwind from your busy stressful life.
We are located 2 1/2 miles down a wide county maintained dirt road. It is very quiet and private out here on the ranch. There are no close neighbors in the vicinity of our property. On the property, we have an exotic bird sanctuary about 200 feet from the RV site. At times you will think you are in the Amazon jungle. The birds are very playful, entertaining to watch them play throughout the day. You are more than welcome to go and interact with the birds. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear.
There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe.
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch.
We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require.
Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona.
We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry.
There is a ton of space to park your vehicle and trailer if needed.
We are on well water out here in the country.

We enjoyed our four day stay in the area in part because of the camping opportunity Molly provided on her farm. The only time we saw the area in daylight was day one during a brief setup. Afterwards we left pre-dawn and arrived after sunset. We almost set camp near the beehives before we recognized them for what they were. Sounds of horses, roosters, and the occasional oink oink were enjoyed during our stay.
Camping here gave us an opportunity to unwind from visiting with family in Mims. We will definitely consider staying here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The campsite is tucked beneath stunning old oaks draped in Spanish moss, and it truly feels like a private retreat. I loved having space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the quiet.
The fire pit setup was perfect for evenings, and the setting felt both safe and secluded without being difficult to access. It was a wonderful place to unwind, read, and even do some painting surrounded by nature.
If you’re looking for calm, natural beauty, and that classic Old Florida atmosphere, this is it. I would absolutely stay again.

Staff on site were very helpful with potable water to refill my water tank and bought some delicious mesculine mix and arugula that they cut straight from the garden. We had such a wonderful weekend camping at this farm in DeLand, Florida. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and amenities were in great shape and clearly cared for.
The farm animals were easily the highlight for our kids. They loved seeing the goats and even got to hold a baby goat with the owners, which made their weekend. They also befriended a turkey who hung around our campsite and the sweetest dog named Jacksonville. The kids even gave the turkey a nickname. Getting that kind of hands on experience with the animals made it feel really special.
The location was great as well. We spent time at Blue Springs Park and appreciated all the local recommendations the hosts shared, including other parks and the Historical Village nearby. They suggested Big Rig for breakfast, which was exactly the casual, relaxed spot we were looking for.
There were other campers on the property, but everyone was respectful and kept to themselves, so it still felt peaceful and private. One especially fun surprise was the bowling ball scavenger hunt on the property, which kept the kids entertained for quite a while.
Overall, we would absolutely recommend staying here. It was a memorable family weekend and a place we would gladly return to.

There was an excellent bike trail just a couple of miles from here which made it perfect for a full day of biking. And then also the close proximity to New Smyrna made an excellent second day. Canaveral National Seashore
Travel 30 minutes south to wander 24 miles of untouched white sand beaches at Canaveral National Seashore. Manatees, sea turtles, and other endangered species help create a unique coastal habitat to explore. The southern entrance has day-use beach areas (including a nude one), while the northern entrance gives easier access to Castle Windy and Eldora Hammock Trails. There are a small number of boat-accessible, primitive campsites located on nearby lagoon islands, though a permit and reservation are required to camp overnight. Canoe rentals are available after reserving one of the campsites.
Blue Spring State Park
Less than an hour inland from Port Orange, campers can boat through bubbles at Blue Spring State Park. Known for its massive manatees and limestone aquifer springs that create tiny bubbles, the park also offers boat tours, scuba diving, and snorkeling. During the winter months, campers flock to the boardwalks and observation decks to catch hundreds of manatees migrating. Summertime heat hosts fishing, swimming, paddling, and inner tubing. The park has one on-site campground offering six cabin rentals and a range of campsites with electrical hookups, fire rings, and picnic tables.
Hontoon Island State Park
Hop over to Hontoon Island for a peaceful paddle. Accessible by park ferry or private boat, Hontoon Island State Park serves pure serenity since motorized vehicles and swimming are prohibited. Campers can explore by bike, boat, or foot through the water-filled wilderness and tree-lined trails. Canoe and kayak rentals are available with the option to purchase an overnight slip if sleeping on-site. There is only one campground on the island that has docks on the water for camping in personal vessels, six rustic cabins, and 11 tent sites with picnic tables.

Port Orange’s climate is hot and humid year-round. The Floridian subtropic region sees summertime highs above 90°F. The warm weather is perfect for days by the beach and water sports, though campers should remember to stay hydrated and bring bug spray to use at dawn and dusk. Winter weather cools down to an average high in the 70s and low in the 50s overnight. Cooler temperatures are a great time to enjoy long-distance hiking and biking or campfires under the stars.
