Honey’s Place is a lovely jungle oasis in the heart of an urban neighborhood. John was a great host and very responsive. He has created a little piece of paradise and made us feel completely welcome. We made trips to Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, South Beach, and Miami downtown. The chickens and peacock were very friendly. We loved this unique place!

This campsite was an absolute dream! It felt like discovering a private oasis tucked away in nature. The private lagoon was stunning — peaceful, and perfect for a swim or a relaxing canoe ride. Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special. The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the place — everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up. I absolutely recommend this hipcamp. The hosts- Jose & Eileen are soo friendly, you feel like family. The area is very nice-super quite & safe. (Double metal gates) It is a little tight to get in but, Jose would even back it in for you. 💯 % Recommend this place. Close to Marlins Stadium-Loan Depot Park- & it's close to Hard Rock Stadium.

Honey's place is an amazing little oasis in the heart of Miami. I was not expecting it to be as beautiful and serene as it was, but it exceeded all expectations!! John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami. My wife, mother in law, and I, loved our time at honey's place and can't wait to go back!!!

Jose & Eileen’s place is very conveniently located. It is a good stop to explore Miami and is located in safe neigborhood. Owners are polite and provide a lot of usefull tips on RV / camping. There is water, power, waste hookup as well. Recommended.

Eileen and Jose were lovely! Eileen met us at the front gate of the driveway when we arrived. She was very kind and welcoming. Their home is absolutely beautiful with a lovely brick driveway and a beautiful gravel spot. The area of their home was one I felt safe in. Eileen and Jose made sure we had everything we needed to make our way night stay on the way to Miami a good one. The driveway is a little narrow but nonetheless, we fit and had a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend Jose and Eileen's spot!

Amazing! John has a really special place here and we certainly enjoyed our stay. This was such a peaceful retreat away from the hustle of the city. It is well located for day trips in the city, but also has anything you may need close by. John was incredibly kind and welcoming. John’s property is gorgeous! I can tell he’s passionate about it and wants his guests to have an amazing experience. If staying in summer I would definitely recommend a tent fan or cooler of some sort as the weather can be extremely humid. My fiancée and I loved the pond and the fish in it as well as all the little lizards. His set up with the lights and mini-beach under coconut trees is breathtaking! I hope to be able to come back sometime 😄
