Very nice lot. Away from most camp sites. Park was semi empty. Buy everyone was pleasant. Pool is nice to cool off in. Only downside is it’s a long drive to ant outside entertainment. Of course, this could be. Good thing.

1 night at Runaway Bay Lodge

This is a great spot! Incredibly relaxing and full of fresh air. I loved laying out on the deck, fishing, and having a safe place to spend the night with nature on the other side of the door. The site comes plenty of amenities (hot shower, window AC units, indoor plumbing, stovetop burners, microwave, and fridge among other things). The owners have done a great job decorating the place, making functional and comfortable living spaces, and are just genuinely nice and sweet people. I had a great time and will be back!

Such a great find. This place is so perfect. The campers have such a vintage feel it makes this whole place feel like how things used to be. Free roaming chickens, friendly dogs, and the kindest hosts. I loved every moment of my time here. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend.

J & T Hideaway / Silver Springs, FL was a clean, well appointed site, only a short drive from Silver Springs. The pool was nearby and open until 10pm and the Bath House had AC and clean hot showers. Tina was a welcoming and attentive host and we recommend this site to anyone visiting the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-day stay at Kelley and Victor's slice of heaven. Loved camping in their sky tent, which fared very well with the summer storm that came through the first night. Kelley and Victor adore their home, and it shows. They have a gorgeous garden and are consistently improving to beautify the land. The outdoor shower was the absolute perfect temperature. Thanks, Kelley and Victor for a great visit. I so enjoyed the quiet time amongst the trees.

1 night at Runaway Bay Lodge

Our experience here was more than we asked for. My partner and I enjoyed a day here during our birthday weekend and they really made it extra special for us. They even surprised us with a b-day desert. The chef that made the vegan burger is an excellent cook and the secluded yurt was lovely. We really enjoyed the opportunity to paint a memory on the walls of their abode as there were many other visitors that also left their memory. The tiki bar was chill and they have a lovely pool table and hot tub. It’s a very romantic place and it would be a great place to get away.

This little slice of heaven is absolutely breathtaking. It backs up on to the lake. Very clean and well taken care of. Sunset was beautiful. Outdoor shower works very well. Saw fish, osprey and plenty of gators.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Lindsay’s campsite backs up right to the bluff overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunrises! The pool at the resort was refreshing after a day of riding the OHV trails. The folks that live here are so friendly and helpful. There is plenty of room, we parked our Super C and enclosed 26’ trailer….we loved it and will be back!!! Thank you Lindsay!

Wanted to get out of the town for a quick trip and Cassandra’s place was perfect for this. The camper was super cute and welcoming. We were a little weary about camping in the heat but the camper had perfect cooling AC. Visits by Oyster the dog and the kittens were appreciated. Outdoor showers and fresh eggs for breakfast were also a plus. This stay has everything you could ever need and more. We felt at home and truly relaxed. Thank you for having us!

Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground (5min walk). Daytona Beach and historic St.Augustine( 20-30 min drive). A little over an hour to Orlando, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. We have a water and electricity hook ups. Spaces for the boats are available also. No sewage disposal. There is a dog on the property. Roxie is a wonderful host who met us upon arrival and departure to make sure all was going well. She even gave us some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens that roam freely on the land. (Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."

There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground.
