1 night at Grass Campers Country Cow Farm

Would recommend staying here. Super safe for solo (woman travelers) due to the ability to have a locked gate and locked on the door. The cabin is super cute and comfy to sleep. The hosts are super nice people. I highly recommend if you are looking for some alone time relaxing!

This was our first experience booking a stay with hipcamp, and it's really going to be a tough one to beat! The stay at Rob and Mike's was incredible, and I'm sure we'll be comparing all of our future adventures to this one--it will be difficult to live up to! The RV was great, the grounds were spectacular, and the ranch experience Rob and Mike led us through was something the kids and I won't forget anytime soon. They're already asking when we can go back! I honestly can't think of anything they could have done to make the stay better...they nailed everything from the big-picture stuff to the nitty-gritty details. Truly a wonderful experience. I would (and have!) recommend this to everyone I know--especially those with kids!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Olive Grove! Only about 10 min away from the Weeki Wachee Springs and the mermaid shows, 5 min away to stores and restaurants, yet - we felt in the country and in the nature. The A-frame experience is one of a kind - watching the fire from the bed was phenomenal! The host was very attentive, responsive and helpful. Free gift of eggs, oil and coffee was a lovely touch. This was such a nice place, and super clean. We were definitely over packed. Deirdre's place is fully equipped with just about everything you need. Just bring your food. If you don't want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and Walmart, etc. All within a short drive. It was very hot while we were there so we didn't get to open the side but the A-frame was cool and dry with the AC running. Appreciated the welcome pack and the clean towels. Instead of coming home with a bunch of dirty dishes I washed everything before we left which makes coming home much easier. We want to go back when the weather gets cooler so we can open the hatch and enjoy a fire and stuff.

Weekend Trip to Country Charm

We truly had such a wonderful time! The RV was so cute and had farm decor! We cooked steaks on the charcoal grill and slept great in the nice cool AC but the stars of the experience were the animals!!!! We got to feed, pet, hold piglets, bunnies, chickens, ducks, goats and horses! The hosts were lovely and so were her adorable children! We even got to bring out dog with us! Best trip ever!!!! I’d highly recommend staying at Country Charm! We feel so blessed that we got to visit!

Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch

What was meant to be a mother/daughter weekend getaway has turned into a family tradition thanks to Rob and Mike’s amazing accommodations and property! I live in Florida, in fact not far from this property and yet we felt like we were deep in the woods on a gorgeous property with awesome trails. The donkeys and horses are my daughter’s favorite. Oh and the farm tour, top notch! You can tell how much Rob and Mike love their animals, with 5 star accommodations for all their animals. Every moment at Lucky U Ranch has made precious memories we will cherish forever! Rob and Mike are the bests hosts and just awesome guys! You won’t be disappointed. Cant wait to book our next trip with them!

My 5 year old and I spent two nights in a canin and it was just so cozy and comfortable for us. The ducks and chickens were fun to feed and entertaining for my daughter. We enjoyed the pool; it was refreshing after a hot day out and about. The bathrooms and kitchen had all the amenities we needed, as did the cabin w a/c, a comfy bed, and even a tv (which we didn’t even use). We built a fire, made s’mores and enjoyed the beautiful olive orchard.

Weekend Trip to Jungle Oasis

I can’t recommend Gulf Wind and Dona’s sanctuary enough! My son and I had planned a weekend camping outing originally scheduled at another location. We quickly realized the other location was not anywhere near what had been advertised and so I quickly contacted Dona to see if she had some last minute availability on her property. Dona was wonderfully responsive and super accommodating and so we headed over to hers as soon as possible. Our experience at Gulf Wind was beyond what we could have expected! The cabin was perfect, it was outfitted with everything we needed, and Dona also went the extra mile to bring us a firepit so we could make dinner and s’mores over the fire. Dona gave us a tour of the sanctuary and took the time to educate us on the animals and their efforts to keep them safe and healthy. My son was so thrilled to interact with these special animals and to get to know their personalities and preferences. We will absolutely be back. Diego’s cabin was the perfect size for us. Next time we come (and there will be a next time!) we will try the larger Florida Breeze cabin with more of our family to change things up! Thank you, Dona and family, for being so welcoming and accommodating. You seriously enriched my son’s experience and we appreciate what you’re doing for these amazing animals.
