It’s perfect campsite for families with kids. You have a lot of space. Everything is going easy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The campground is situated perfect for trips to the keys and to the Everglades. Hagen, thank you very much for everything!

Weekend Trip to Redlands Palmgrove

We stopped here for a night on the way to Key West. Easy to get to .. very close to Highway, plenty of shopping and food options nearby as well as fuel. Clean site, beautiful surroundings, easy to walk our dog, had everything we needed for a night . Gated- which was a plus . Hagen was welcoming and very easy to arrange arrival with.

1 night at Redlands Palmgrove

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hagen’s place. We normally stick to state and federally operated parks and this was our first Hipcamp experience. It won’t be our last. Hagen is a nice,gracious, and accommodating host. The beautiful site is in an agricultural area just far enough away from the chaos of the Homestead/Miami metro areas to be quiet and serene, yet close enough to be able to access everything the area has to offer easily. Do you like lush green landscaping and palm trees? (Lots of royal and coconut palms!) Do you like quiet and peaceful? Throw in a host who is not obtrusive but as available as you need him to be, and this is your place. The pad is gravel, level and was easily accessible for our 30’ Class A and Toad. We will absolutely stay there again when back in the area.

5 nights at Gate to the Keys

I was greeted upon arrival and offered guidance with parking. I enjoyed a peaceful stay in this lovely green space. The fruit trees and palm trees are lovely. The electric hook-up was great for keeping cool in the Florida heat. The property is fenced and I felt safe during my stay. Plenty of room to walk my dog. The road is a little rough but I didn’t have any problems navigating a class C RV. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when traveling to the keys.

It’s a small space to get into, but what a great space once you are there! Jose and Eileen are very friendly and accommodating, and the oasis they’ve created in the back yard is quite amazing. We really enjoyed drinking coffee by the pool in the morning. We recommend!

2 nights at Honeys Place: Urban Camping Oasis

My wife and I stayed on John’s land for 2 nights and it was absolutely incredible! The property is genuinely stunning and John is one of, if not the best host we’ve ever had. He responded in the blink of an eye to any message I sent him and was extremely helpful with anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this property and my wife and I will definitely be back!

Outstanding place off the beaten path but close to everything! Wonderful property in the heart of the Homestead agricultural area. Quiet, beautiful and spacious. Close to Biscayne and Everglades NPs and Miami. Great assortment of little eateries and fruit stands nearby all over Homestead. Hagen was a very friendly host with excellent communication. We had a fantastic 2 week stay and would definitely come back!

Hagen (our host) went out of his way to make sure we were set up and comfortable. And we got to stay under a magnificent wind generator..... wow. And the property was beautiful with all the palm trees.

Weekend Trip to Gate to the Keys

Sandra and Joe have a little piece of paradise and we were so happy to spend a couple of nights there. It is an acre and a half, fully enclosed property with a variety of fruit trees. It is really beautiful and peaceful. Our pup loved having free room of the place and even came face to face with a couple of wild peacocks! Joe and Sandra are lovely people and very accommodating. Highly recommend their place!

The location was very close to stores and entertainment but very secluded. Beautiful property with a sandy area near the water my site was full hookup. Nicely manicured. Fernando assisted me with backing up into the site as well as connecting the water, electric and sewer. There were paddle boards to borrow. Internet was available. Fernando was an extremely helpful host. I would highly recommend.

Incredible find! John is a great host with a beautiful property and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves for most of the stay. If you're looking for a place in this area we definitely recommend it.

Another great Hipcamp site. The setting is nice and overall has the feeling of seclusion due to the immense and abundant palm trees. Hagen was a good host, easy going and informative. He had a handful of full time campers, but the sites are spacious and spread apart.

3 nights at Gate to the Keys

Was a great time here! They accommodated us and our four dogs. The host stayed on the property beautiful trees all around pretty secluded. No sewer hook ups is the only down fall. Was two other people there the day we got there and then they left the next morning. I would recommend it! Also was able to have a package delivered to the property !

We were vanlifers for many years and finally settled down and got a house. We have a 30+ foot parking spot with full hookups. Off the road, behind our home. Parking area is 12 foot wide, but has an additional 5 feet of grass on one side if you have a slide-out. Full parking lot behind the property to make it an easy pull-in to our yard from the lot for any size rig. Fence closes behind you to keep you fully enclosed and private. Shared yard space with us in the main house, free use of our beautiful backyard with fairy lights and mango trees. Take as many free mangoes as you like (when they're in season)! Yard is fully fenced in and pet-friendly, but we do have a pet cat on the property and ask that your outdoor pet be monitored when in the yard. A short 3 block walk to the bars, nightlife, and arts district of Lake Worth Beach. 4 minute drive to the beach (or $5 Uber). [Absolute max size 32 foot, bumper to bumper]
