She took part of the money given to her by the government and bought the initial tract. The host's father increased the size of the Property tremendously in the 90s and early-2000s, and today it encompasses 1, 337 acres. The Property is an old Spanish land grant, originally owned by the Sanchez Family, which used to be a large cattle family in the State of Florida. Today, under our ownership since the late 40s, the Ranch has never been developed or timbered in any large measure. Original heart pine forests, oak groves, and wetlands pepper the entire tract. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development. Weekend Trip to Runaway Bay Lodge

I recently had the pleasure of using Hi-Camp for my first camping experience, and it was truly exceptional! Kennedy and Kristina were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kennedy, in particular, graciously waited for us to arrive well past our scheduled check-in time, providing us with a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the campsite. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the lake waves was just what I needed to unwind. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway experience. I highly recommend Kennedy’s Land to anyone looking for a serene escape into nature!

Weekend Trip to Bryan Ranch

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time getting lost in nature! The winding driveway to the property made it feel like we were escaping into a fairytale forest — so private and peaceful. We loved that our dogs could run around freely next to our camp, and the setup was perfect for our group: my partner and I stayed in a tent while our guests enjoyed the comfort of the RV. The accommodations were great — the RV was especially comfortable during the hot afternoons, and I actually really enjoyed the cold outdoor shower! We spent our time cooking delicious food together, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful forest surroundings. Just a heads up: I recommend bringing tick spray, as we did get some bites, but that’s to be expected when you’re this close to nature. The hostess was so kind and helpful — overall, it was a stay full of fun, family, and forest. Highly recommend!

This is a great spot! Incredibly relaxing and full of fresh air. I loved laying out on the deck, fishing, and having a safe place to spend the night with nature on the other side of the door. The site comes plenty of amenities (hot shower, window AC units, indoor plumbing, stovetop burners, microwave, and fridge among other things). The owners have done a great job decorating the place, making functional and comfortable living spaces, and are just genuinely nice and sweet people. I had a great time and will be back!

Our stay at Runaway Bay was delicious in every way! From the moment we stepped onto the property we could feel the care that Kennedy and Christina take in meeting the needs of each guest. We had the most amazing stay at this site! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel right at home, and the experience only got better from there. The breathtaking water views were the highlight of our trip—waking up to that serene scenery each day was such a treat. We spent our days paddleboarding on the lake, playing pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed, making it so easy to cook and enjoy meals together. We spent NYE here and left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. This place is an absolute gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay! This place has such a unique charm, and Kennedy was very kind and accommodating. The tent was spacious, and it was so nice to fall asleep to the sounds of the water. We loved hanging out watching all the wildlife on the water, and the sunsets were so beautiful and right in front of the tent! It was such a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, we would definitely come back! The shared kitchen space was well stocked with cooking utensils which was very helpful. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Runaway Bay Lodge

I mean it can’t get better than this. Right on the water of Lake George and one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve ever seen. Mid November is the perfect time to be in the waterside tent 🥰 We did not have access to the hot tub or dock due to the recent hurricanes but yet Kennedy found a way to make sure the vibes were still unmatched. Will most likely return!
