Private, peaceful camping is available with full RV hook-up that includes sewer, 50 amp electric with a 30 amp adapter, and water. Your campsite is located right in the heart of our farm. While at your site, you will see and surely be entertained by our goats, sheep, horse, Charlie and Dottie Mae our Kunekune pigs, chickens, Eduardo our turkey, and many more. The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles. Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash. A fire pit and picnic table is at each site. We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health. Good rustic setting. Small farm with lotsa goats. Probably not for very big rigs. Main house is kinda close but you should still be able to get some privacy. Owners were gone while we were there. I'd reach out early just to make sure they are home before you stay. Both spots have full power/water/sewer.

3 star. The hookups were difficult to attach at the same time. The well water was brown and smelt weird. The bathroom had lizard poop everywhere. The animals looked like they needed some love. Yet, the view of the field was beautiful. Don’t expect much for the price.

I enjoyed how peaceful it was on this property. It was very easy to pull in and out of with good water, sewer and electricity access. The wildlife out there was great with squirrels, turtles and lots and lots of birds. Fairly easy access to good shopping and the historic district of Fernandina.

Unfortunately we arrived late and spent there only one night but it was a great experience! The owners are nice and helpful people, and their campsite is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. We’d like to go back when we’ll have the chance to. I’d recommend Margaret’s land to everyone!

My husband and I absolutely loved Lofton Retreat. Peggy was so kind. She brought over our fresh dozen of eggs and a little flower arrangement to put on the picnic table. It was so peaceful and the grounds are so beautiful. On our last day we finally got to see Walker ( the turtle) We also enjoyed taking our 4x4 Camper van out on the beach at Amelia State Park only $2 per person. We can’t wait to come back again!

We really enjoyed our weekend camping at Collins Farm. Having the field of goats, sheep, pigs, and a horse added a nice atmosphere. Except for the roosters, it’s very quiet. The site was level with full hookups, all in great working order. There was even an extra length of sewer hose provided in case you needed an extension. There is Wi-Fi, but it’s a pretty weak signal so don’t plan on streaming video, but we could get some connectivity. The location is very close to Micanopy which has a quaint little downtown with some antique shops and restaurants. Old Florida Cafe was a favorite. And it’s only 20 mins to Gainesville, so convenient for events at UF. We highly recommend Collins Farm and will be back.

My stay at Collins Farm was unforgettable. The property itself is stunning—peaceful open pastures, friendly animals, and a serene campsite right in the heart of the farm. But what truly made the experience special was the host, Jason. During a surprise power outage and torrential downpour, Jason went above and beyond by lending us a generator and personally setting it up in the rain. He was incredibly polite, professional, and responsive the entire time. Jason also took the time to answer all my questions about the animals and how they’re cared for, which made the visit even more enriching. Every animal—from the goats to the pigs, roosters, and turkeys—was gentle, well-cared for, and a joy to interact with. This is the perfect place to unplug, relax, and reconnect with nature. I highly recommend Collins Farm and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Jason!

Absolutely love sunny oaks! One of the nicest RV parks in the Jacksonville area! Highly recommend, it’s clean, quiet, the residents and management are extremely friendly and accommodating, there bathrooms and showers are kept immaculate, laundry on site and they don’t gouge you on the prices of anything! If u need a place to stay with your rv or travel trailer in Jacksonville don’t go anywhere else!!
