Surrounded by luxurious gated communities with lush landscaping along walking/bike paths which leads you right to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches. There is one beach access less than a mile away and others nearby as well. You'll find much to do; fish on the piers at the waterfront park just a mile away where one could do some dolphin and manatee watching, picnic, or just watch boats sail by. Walk or bike the miles of sidewalks and the pink sand coquina beaches. Washington Oaks State Park is nearby. Close enough, yet far away from over- run tourist destinations, such as Daytona Beach (30 min), St. Augustine(30 min) and Orlando 1 1/2 hr.
