4 nights at Pennylane Farm

The Farmland is beautiful. We loved watching the sunrise over the pastors. The horses and chickens were fun to watch. The Host Mark was a great guy. Fun to talk to and very accommodating. It's a peaceful place to camp. I would recommend this place!

5 nights at Anastasia Island RV Pad Rental

We loved staying at Sherri and Robert's site. It is so convenient to historic St. Augustine and the beach. The pad is level, and the site has full hookups (30 amp). The hosts are friendly and helpful. They even loaned us camp chairs as we forgot to pack ours. We will definitely return when we visit St. Augustine.

Robert and Sherri are awesome hosts. They made us feel at home and their place is so cute and well taken care of. Saw lots of birds and some turtles in the pond. The back yard is very serene and quiet. The camping neighbors in site 2 were real nice too. The pad is a driveway, but the way they have it set up, with hedges and a nice paver patio, you don’t feel like you’re in a front yard.

6 nights at Anastasia Island RV Pad Rental

Staying at Robert & Sherri's quaint and quiet space for a week was just what I needed to feel some respite and renewal. I was at pad #2, which had access to a lovely patio set and a couple of chairs in a grassy area for relaxation. Having hook-ups for water, electric, and wastewater was such a convenience. I had the opportunity to ride my bicycle to the beach, which was incredibly fun. It was a very simple and safe route down well-maintained sidewalks with beautiful scenery. They recommended that I visit the local farmer's market at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, which I also did by bicycle on very safe sidewalks and one manageable crossing. I was able to buy some fresh vegetables and fruit as well as enjoy a really nice breakfast from a couple of food vendors. Listening to the stylings of some local musicians playing at the market was a bonus. In the afternoons, I enjoyed sitting on the lounge chair by the lake in their backyard watching turtles poking their heads above water and local birds fishing. I truly appreciate the privacy that I was provided by Robert and Sherri. They were so friendly and truly respected my Skoolie as my home. They did invite me to have tea and snacks with them. It was wonderful to talk story and get to know them. They are incredibly kind people and have created a little oasis by the beach in a safe and quiet neighborhood. *There is a KOA literally a street over...so glad I came across their place.

Cannot say enough about this place! Our stay was amazing! Very dog friendly which is a must for us. The glamping tent has everything, even a fan and small heater. The cot’s were a lifesaver because our blow up mattress ended up having a hole in it. The property is beautiful, filled with Angel Oaks. A Dollar General is less than 3 minutes away for last minute needs. Perry is nice and accommodating. The property is well kept and beautiful. The springs were clear and inviting. We had no issues with ticks or bugs. Already planning another trip back! 10/10 recommendation!

Great communication with the host, Jay, who was off property at the time. He made sure that we had what we needed and answered any questions that I had. Hospitable. Also an AWESOME caretaker of the property, Liz. She showed us around and told us about the animals in the area. Jay and Liz made this trip so amazing. The site felt completely private. My son and I spent almost all of our time down at the outside yard area where there was cooking and device using and relaxing and napping for four days. I loved the hot tub. My son and I got to watch our first space coast launch from the backyard. (Thanks Liz! I wouldn't have known it without you!) My kiddo loved that! The outside cooking area was awesome and great accessibility being able to use my cooking stove and utensils and I have a two slice toaster and a single burner with pans. I was able to feed my son what I would normally feed him. And while there is no shower hookup the water hose was more than adequate for just about everything we needed and there is water in the sink down at the outdoor cooking area. And it tastes clean. It was quiet outside of random cars on the back road. Nights were very quiet. I wish I had taken pictures of the area but I totally forgot while enjoying the hot tub on site 24/7. The cabana is very comfortable for a nap by the way. There are so many chairs, lounging was easy. Loved the tornado fans that kept the outside cool and mosquitos out. It was perfect. We're coming for my birthday in a month!

5 J’s Camp is completely private 2.5 acres that backs the Ocala National Forest in Umatilla . This our family getaway, we are a family of 5 and we all have names that start the letter J. There are endless places to put a tent including by the lake, or completely private areas, or by the common areas to be close to a bathroom and kitchen and pavilion, water and electric. The amenities include a pavilion with an outside kitchen, dinning and living area. There is also a ( large shed converted to a ) cook shack with a full size fridge, microwave, electric burners and a toaster oven. There is also a bathroom with a full-size shower/tub, hot water and a toilet. It comes with all of the basics to be comfortable while you camp. Also, you have a good chance of being alone. we usually only book 1 party at a time, Just message me to confirm. The property has enough lighting to completely light up the common area. There is also water and electric all over the property. There is a shooting range right outside of the property that is part of the forest. There is Blue Sink several miles away, it is a spring feed swimming hole that is deep enough for SCUBA. There is horse trails and OHV trails as well. This camp was a hunting camp and still has an huge animal cleaning station on the back side of the property, with water, drainage, power, lighting and all stainless steel sinks and counters. Come to play and explore or come to relax. Our camp is always (slowly)being Improved, you might see work in progress so be aware there may be a consolidated area that looks messy. This is a camp, everything gets dusty, and there are bugs. We keep the yard kept up and do what we can to limit bugs in the common area. I recommend a 4x4 although I don’t own one my self. The roads are usually decent, but the weather has a lot to do with roads in the forest.

We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.) The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring. Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge will be ready by Fall 2022. Whereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

Camp Shiloh

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes 32' and under, Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here.
