Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. Brian’s property was a great spot for us! He greeted us and lead us to our spot and then we found out his wife Phyllis bakes muffins and cookies so we bought some muffins for breakfast. They were delicious! We had a problem with our RV not starting on the morning we were supposed to leave and Brian was extremely helpful in giving us assistance with finding a mechanic that could help us. Brian even towed our bus to the repair shop with his tractor! We were very grateful and would definitely recommend this property because of its safe location and the wonderful people who own it. This was an amazing little gem! The owners were amazing! They greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around the property! They checked in on us throughout our stay and provided some extra firewood as we needed it! There were chickens running around and we were able to have fresh eggs in the mornings! We were able to set up a tent to accommodate some extra guests and we brought our pup who loved the property! We made some incredible meals and the camper has all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasonings you need! They also left us stuff to make s’mores! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the bathroom was surprisingly clean! We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Camp 4A! The property is beautiful — peaceful, private, and surrounded by wildlife. We saw so many deer and wild turkey throughout the neighborhood! Mike was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Our only downside was that the dock was broken during our visit and the riverbank was mostly slick limestone, which made it tough to get in and out for swimming. However, there’s a gorgeous park less than a ten-minute walk away where you can access the river easily for a dip! Firewood available onsite for a reasonable price was also a bonus!

The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles. Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash. A fire pit and picnic table is at each site. We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development.
