Weekend Trip to SWEETDALE

We arrived after 12 am and it was great! Its quiet and well maintained. Seeing all the kitties were a huge plus for my family (mostly my 4 year old) would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Weekend Trip to Felidae Farm

Kamping with the Kitties was an amazing experience for my boyfriend and me. We found a nice spot with a fire pit and chairs and enough shade to pitch a tent. The cats came by to say their hellos! Marvin, the grey cat, is very friendly and slept with us in our tent :) A lot of the money goes towards helping feed and house these cats, so it’s a great way to spend your money. The price was amazing and the spot is clean and comfortable! Kimberly is amazing and friendly and made our experience here much more memorable and pleasurable! Highly recommend this area for all types of groups and we’ll definitely be back to visit in the future. :)

Weekend Trip to GreenHills Camp

We loved camping here. Site #3 was gorgeous, well shaded, and tucked away from the other two campsites. The kids and dog were able to run free without us worrying about them wandering anywhere. It felt like a peaceful wooded oasis, plus had the benefit of an outhouse and hot shower for convenience. We will definitely be back!

My family and I booked site 2 which was nestled nicely in the woods and completely covered by trees. It was such a lovely experience and Marty was very responsive. Shower being available was a nice touch

Weekend Trip to Duck Neck Campground

Not sure where to start. This campground is the most quiet I have been to, even with folks at their sites hanging out. Everything was clean - the general store, the restrooms. My neighbors were so kind as to help me with any questions as I was out with my new RV for the first trip (usually we tent camp). Depending on your equipment the site might be tight but was easily reconfigured to meet the needs. We hiked the campground trails in the morning. While I didn’t personally go in the pool our neighbors raved about it. Close enough to Chestertown and Rock Hall for unique horistical experiences. It is so close to home and we are already talking about how to swing seasonal stays to really experience it all.

Fantastic views and FULL hookup! David's property is perfect, communication was seamless and drove right up to the site. Already booked again!

Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

Loredana was a great host! She was very helpful guiding us to our site and helping us stay cool with homemade beet sorbet and providing ice when we needed it. We got to spend time with her and the horses petting and taking care of them one of the days. The campsite was absolutely beautiful and we had a great stay. I have nothing negative to say about Loredana or the camp site. We will definitely be coming back to spend more time with her and the horses for another relaxing weekend. There are also many places around the area if you need anything. Thank you so much for an amazing long weekend!

2 nights at GreenHills Camp

We had a lovely stay at Green Hills Camp. We ran into some issues on our end (car broke down, kid got sick), and Marty was super kind and accommodating. We were in site 3 which was super spacious and well-kept. We found a great spot to pitch the tent (some of the land slopes down, but there are definitely spots where the ground is even). We were able to explore a bit up[ the adjoining trail and we had a lovely dinner using the two picnic tables. Sadly, we had to depart early, but we're looking forward to coming back soon. It was a perfect place to have a weekend getaway from Philadelphia. Thanks so much!

Beautiful site, very private. A little off the main path but worth it.

2 nights at Fawn View Farm, Pond & Fields

My grandson and I had an amazing visit to the farm. Mary greeted us and made a few suggestions for local entertainment. Sitting on the dock with a fishing pole was relaxing. Rocks state park water falls was by far our favorite local site. If you are looking for a quiet country setting stay here!

1 night at Creekside Orchard

We had a great time camping at site #4. It was a large site all the way at the end and private from the other sites. There was plenty of space for our large tent. The site has a hammock stand, picnic table, 2 large benches by the fire, and counter height food prep area next to an umbrella for shade if needed. It was also next to the HUGE firewood supply, it was great having so much firewood available! While there is access to the creek down a couple steps right in front of the site, there is also a very short path thru the woods that takes you to another access area where you can walk right in. The kids had fun braving the cold water in the creek, when we went the depth in the middle was up to a child's chest/ adult below the hip and not fast flowing so it was perfect and safe for the kids to swim. It did rain a lot overnight during our stay but the site did not get muddy and the creek swelled a little but nothing crazy. The site was shaded all morning which is good in the heat. The outhouse was a just a little walk away but a good distance from the site where it's not visible, plus it was clean and there was no smell inside. Shortly after arriving the host came to greet us and was very nice asking if we needed anything or had any questions. We would definitely stay again! Some things to do nearby around a 10 min drive away is rocks state park with hiking and picnic areas along the creek with more great swimming sites, and also close to Kilgore falls.

3 nights at Horse Farm Camping

We loved camping at Bren’s farm. The spot he gave us was private, în close proximity to the horses (that were fenced). He have us water. We had to back into the site through a long driveway, so just make sure you arrive on daylight and go slowly and use spotters. I did fine with our 29’ Travel Trailer. You can run your generator as much or as little as you need, as nobody will hear you. Mike

So peacefull and quite. The campsites are incredibly spacious. Highly recommended for those needing a little retreat from noisey life.

2 nights at Hardscrabble Hill

This was perfect camp spot for us. Even though it was a rainy couple days, we had a great time. The camp site was well maintained with all we needed and the setting is beautiful. All by ourselves on the hill top with a great view and peaceful setting.

Beautiful and peaceful place, very spacious, and lovely house pasture. Close to orchard, cider and river access. Excellent amenities: wash station, trash can, toilets. Had a great time.

Weekend Trip to Horse Farm Camping

Great spot, nice and private. Can hear the road until traffic dies off, but it’s not too bad; didn’t disturb us. The horses are right there next to the spot and there are chickens and other animals on the farm.

Weekend Trip to Fawn View Farm, Pond & Fields

We chose Pond site #2 because we wanted to spend our entire camping trip fishing, and this site did not disappoint. When the weather was nice the fish were consistently biting, but the bass stopped when the temperature dropped below 75. Altogether, My two friends and I caught 46 bass and 80+ sunfish. The host was nice and accommodating. The location was semi secluded, with a house and apartment a couple hundred yards away, but for the most part it felt like you’re camping in the woods. If I had to complain about anything it would probably be that the weeds in the pond were a little out of control in some areas, but the host mentioned that they’re looking to fix that. And I’m definitely looking forward to our next stay here!

Experience a relaxing weekend out in the woods and by the water, while staying close to amenities and other fun outings. If you bring your own Van, Schoolie, Trailaer, or mid-sized RV, we have 30amp and 15amp hookups available in our driveway. Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm! Here are a few ground rules to help with your stay -PLEASE READ SO NONE OF THIS IS A SURPRISE-: -Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!) - OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there. -This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers. - Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property. -Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times. You can enjoy the following on our sites: - Free, unlimited wood for your campfires. Each site comes with a fire ring. - Seating arrangements (picnic table, wrought iron loungers and chairs and wood benches). - Charming outhouse situated over a septic certified holding tank with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
