This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls.
The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. We also have a propane outdoor grill and propane two burner camp stove. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more.
We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

Our campsite is perfect for individuals, couples, or large groups. The camp features a small bunkhouse with four twin-size beds, cleared forest areas that can accommodate up to ten 2–4 person tents, an outdoor kitchenette (full-size refrigerator, granite countertops, sink, and power), a well-appointed outhouse with running water, and an outdoor shower just a short walk from camp. This Jayco RV is decorated and designed for two people who want to create a cozy getaway to relax and celebrate beautiful, unforgettable moments. It's an escape that takes you away from the routine and offers a unique experience with a vintage style where you'll feel good vibes with every breath. With the cold season upon us, the RV has built-in heating, and I've also added an electric heater to keep you warm during your stay. It has its own control panel and thermostat. When you're going to use the shower, I suggest turning on the water heater 25 minutes beforehand so you can enjoy a lovely shower. But don't forget to turn it off after you're finished, as it will stay on unnecessarily. It's also important to know that when you use the toilet, only use toilet paper, as it's specially designed for this type of RV and won't cause blockages. Smoking is prohibited inside this property; if smoke is found, an extra cleaning fee will be charged.
This is also an ideal space to relax and work remotely, as it has an independent antenna to provide internet access to the entire unit and all the electronic equipment you need.
I will ensure the unit is delivered to you with all its accessories in working order so you won't have any problems. I always suggest guests ask any necessary questions so they can use it without any issues. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan.
Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. Weekend Trip to Beavertides Farm
My sisters and I stayed at the camp for the weekend. We all had such a good time. It was restful and relaxing, and Maureen was a great host. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. The outhouse didn't even smell bad, and there were fresh flowers left in it. And in the tent We are already planning our next trip.
The horses we're so sweet and we even got to see a gaggle of geese. We saw a million stars and built a campfire for smores.
And the accommodations were comfortable.
And beautiful. It felt like home away from home.

Seriously great retreat . Trails were awesome . Nothing tops the hospitality from Bert and Nancy!! Overall one of the best glamping spots yet . Awesome site, lots of privacy! Convenient location with a stop and shop only 5 mins away if you need more supplies, however we still felt like we secluded from civilization when we were at the site. Wood was supplied free of charge. We left a day and a half early due to rain and Tiffany was kind enough to offer us a discounted rate for next time we come. Great host and great camp site!

My family had a WONDERFUL stay at Two Herons Farm! Our baby daughter was delighted to interact with the sheep, goats, ponies, cows, chickens, guinea pigs, dogs, cat, and more!!! The farm was a great store with cool, local gifts. The cabin was really comfortable and private. The hosts, Molly and Diego, were incredibly generous and helpful. We were fortunate to tag along with Diego while he feed various animals, felt like a cool behind-the-scenes tour. We've stayed in dozens of Airbnbs/Hipcamps over the years, and this was by far our favorite. Highly recommend!!!

Mackenzie and the rest of the volunteers and staff we met were super friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Terrasphere and it was a really unique experience. The site was really well appointed with lights and electricity and a grill and all the other amenities that we need for the stay which made it really easy for us to set up camp and everybody had a great time. The horses are really beautiful, and the grounds are really beautiful. Would definitely recommend for a family or for a group event.
