This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls.
The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. We also have a propane outdoor grill and propane two burner camp stove. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

Once a working small farm, this property is now our homestead. Our cabin, a converted shed, was once used by family. You’ll see multiple plots of organically grown vegetables, a large area for relaxing, playing croquet or cornhole, and a mowed path for a short walk. We are located on a main town road, so there may be some traffic noise at times. Expect a rooster to be your alarm clock and, on a clear night, plenty of stars.
The cabin has a couch that opens into a small full-size bed, suitable for one tall person or two petite guests. It is equipped with rechargeable bistro lights, a rechargeable fan, and windows with screens and curtains. Books and games are also provided. There is enough space for an additional guest to sleep on the floor with a camping mat.

This Jayco RV is decorated and designed for two people who want to create a cozy getaway to relax and celebrate beautiful, unforgettable moments. It's an escape that takes you away from the routine and offers a unique experience with a vintage style where you'll feel good vibes with every breath. With the cold season upon us, the RV has built-in heating, and I've also added an electric heater to keep you warm during your stay. It has its own control panel and thermostat. When you're going to use the shower, I suggest turning on the water heater 25 minutes beforehand so you can enjoy a lovely shower. But don't forget to turn it off after you're finished, as it will stay on unnecessarily. It's also important to know that when you use the toilet, only use toilet paper, as it's specially designed for this type of RV and won't cause blockages. Smoking is prohibited inside this property; if smoke is found, an extra cleaning fee will be charged.
This is also an ideal space to relax and work remotely, as it has an independent antenna to provide internet access to the entire unit and all the electronic equipment you need.
I will ensure the unit is delivered to you with all its accessories in working order so you won't have any problems. I always suggest guests ask any necessary questions so they can use it without any issues. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan.
Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. After reading about the campervan's features, if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.

What an incredible stay! Dr Ivette is an outstanding host - extremely considerate, responsive, and caring. I felt at home from the moment that I checked in and she made sure my entire experience was a smooth one.
HBG is an impeccable place that provided serenity and healing energy. Between all of the animals, beautiful plants, and delicious fresh herbs - I felt like I was staying in a storybook. The 3 minute walk to the beach ain’t too shabby either!

This was a stop over for rest. I wished i had more time to see this working farm. Even though we booked last minute Molly made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the animals. We brought our small dogs. Remember if you don't have dogs that are good in this environment its not for you. Molly had everything but if you are staying for a couple of days you might want to bring extra linens for your comfort. Very cute and clean. Would love to do again.

I needed a place to crash for the night to split up a trip, and this was the perfect set up! I wish I had time to explore the farm more but it was so peaceful the bit I got to saw. Molly was very nice to meet me at the store and I got some amazing local yogurt. A really special spot to check out!

The beekeeping class was incredible and we were able to grab a few peaches from their tree afterward. It was such a relaxing experience and we would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Weekend Trip to Beavertides Farm
What a unique, absolutely incredible glamping experience!!
Secluded in what I can only describe as a magical secluded meadow surrounded by wildflowers, tall trees, grazing horses and a donkey, a friendly cat, it truly feels like it’s only little world. Could not have had a better experience, truly disconnected, relaxed and recharged.
Marleen is a wonderful host and so helpful. She truly loves her farm and sharing it with those who visit, if you are so inclined. Personally I highly recommend the fresh farm breakfast and farm tour add ons. Also absolutely check out their meat selection from animals on their farm. I cooked the best ribeye of my life over a campfire on a cast iron skillet.
The tent itself is cute, cozy, and comfortable. We slept soundly in the king sized bed, napped on the large L-shaped couch, made tea with the electric kettle, and eggs and vegetables on the small electric Induction stovetop.
While Marleen provides all you may need, the more you plan ahead for your own comfort the better! Your preparation will only add to what is already provided as an incredible experience. I cannot describe the feeling of warm mornings on the porch sipping herbal tea, moonlight filling the meadow and a silver horse grazing in front of you, a campfire crackling just yards from your luxurious tent.
Could not recommend more. This is not just camping or even glamping, it is truly a unique, magical, wonderful experience.

When we saw the Buddha statues on the way in we knew we had picked the right place! We stayed at the octagon and it far exceeded our expectations. There were a few different places to sit and enjoy the woods, the brook, and the campsite. The trail system is really unique and beautiful. The hosts are obviously very artsy and in time to nature as it seemed like they built everything to blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest.
We hope to make this our regular stop whenever we travel to or through this area

The whole site was an amazing forested retreat! Really well decorated and thought out. We stayed at the octagon and it was so amazing to be in nature beside a babbling brook and we loved the trail system. We were using it as a pit stop and wish we had allotted more time to just absorb the ambience.
The Buddha statues are a great touch too!

Tbh I was amazed at how over prepared the hosts were for us, Me And my pregnant girlfriend were treated like royalty they made us feel so welcomed I honestly felt the love the tree house was more than amazing the trail was beautiful and the fishing was fun I will be back 💯🙏🏻

It’s a beautiful property! Lovely to see the cows, the starlit sky and fireflies. The fire pit is amazing and there’s plenty of firewood. The picnic table is great too. There are no pots or pans or tongs fyi so itd be good to brings those! And the bathroom was a little uncomfortable to use because of the toilet bowl being a bag that wasn’t so deep.. so slight discomforts but it is glamping and there are plenty of places not too far away to access bathrooms and other comforts.

If you're looking for unique glamping please visit Beavertides Farm! The folks are amazing and truly hospitable, we felt right at home. We loved that the farm animals were able to graze in front of the tent and around us while we sat by the cozy campfire. Truly a serene experience they offer everything you need to enjoy your stay.
