Weekend Trip to Taconic Spring/Summer Camping!

When we arrived we were delighted with the campsite that they had set up for us: There were 5 citronella candles burning, and 4 cans of bug spray lined up on the table! There was a nice little garbage receptacle that kept things neat and tidy. This was all a very thoughful surprise! The items we booked were the fire pit, picnick table, and water, the fire was already started and there was ample high quality firewood to keep it going, the water option was 2 Poland Spring gallons jug bottles, and the picnick table was the big wooden kind that fits a crowd. Communication prior to arrival was great and upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed with such helpful friendliness and big smiles. We had an amazing time! Oh wait I also got the farm fresh eggs! They come from the farm next door. I don't eat eggs myself but I got them as a souvenir of my trip upstate to give my family when I see them next weekend.

I loved camping here. The mini golf course was so quirky and fun. The site/tent was clean and exactly as advertised. Owners were very responsive. Bathroom and shower facilities were spotless. Everything you could possibly need and more frankly. 10/10

We had a great camping experience in the woods! The property is beautiful, with its own farm, garden, and cozy patios equipped with BBQ grills—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Even though we were switched from the Cabbage Tent to a regular tent, our host Diana went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her hospitality truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful fully working farm with great people running it. Was fortunate enough to spend some time with the owners, get a tour of the barn, and helped feed the baby goats! Fantastic burger joint right down the road. Check in was a breeze and the weather was so nice one of us ended up camping outside. Great place and wonderful people. Will definitely return if ever in the area again.

We loved our time on Tyler’s property. We went to the top of the hill and even with some times of heavy rain, our site drained well and we stayed quite dry with the tree cover. Tyler himself was super nice and came around checking in and had fire wood available for purchase which was so convenient.

The Yurt Sanctuary was calm peaceful place to stay near the beach. We used it to have a place to crash after a fishing trip and grill etc! Every was as listed, one thing you might want to keep in mind during summer month it does get hot! But the evening was very cool and comfy with the fans but luckily the beach is literally a 7min drive. We had a blast and will definitely come back again!

This site is exactly as described and pictured! Both hosts - Mary and Viktor - were extremely kind and welcoming. Yes, there was another group camping in the paddock BUT there's enough space that there was still plenty of privacy (more than a public campground). There was plenty of firewood provided at a reasonable $10. Everything was clean. Would definitely camp here again!

We really enjoyed this campground, it is in a great location, easy to find. Sites are spaced out nicely and it wasn’t too crowded or loud. Multiple porta potties, a shower, and some hoses for fresh water were awesome to have as well. Most of the sites have tables and chairs which is a nice bonus. Our favorite part was fishing in the river!

Had a nice time camping at Peconic River Campground! It was simple, with a large field with people pulling up and camping all around, a medium amount of trees and a beautiful lake. Just don't expect privacy or to feel like you're in a rural area. Bathrooms are portapottie. It's good for an easy camping trip not a far drive from civilization. Tyler is very responsive and helpful. Not sure it was worth the price but its Long Island.

We can do a day rental of just the pool and gardens for an additional fee of $600 for parties of up to 20 people. For larger events, such as weddings, please contact us to discuss. Please ask if you would like to stay a little later than typical check out time. We often can accommodate. Please do NOT pick the fruits or veggies without asking as often things are not quite ripe yet. When things are ripe, we will try to put a bowl of fresh stuff out for you to choose from. Of course, it goes without saying, Please be considerate and clean up after yourselves. No smoking cigarettes or e-cigarette, vapes in the tent.
