It is a quiet and peaceful place located 25 minutes from Cripple Creek (if you like gambling) , and 45 minutes from Woodland Park where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, rock and gem shops and more attractions typical to a tourist town. A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations. The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons. Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master. Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban. Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Weekend Trip to Little Buffalo Cabin

What a wonderful visit to the sweetest Cabin imaginable. Hartsell is a darling little town with lots to do within a short drive… Hot Springs, a drive-in, movie theater, great restaurants and outdoor activities. The house was exactly as pictured with wood for the fireplace, a well stocked kitchen, a cozy bed, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and absolutely stunning views. We had an incredible time and would go back in a heartbeat!

This property is a beautiful hidden gem with amazing night guys, absolute solitude and responsive host. The cabin was larger than I expected with 2 beds in the loft, 2 beds on the main floor and a couch in the living room next to the wood stove. The wood stove heats up fast and provides house of heat without needing to reload and the propane burners for Coleman stove are perfect for cooking. Just bring some battery powered string lights for lighting at night and a headlamp. There are good hiking options on the property and the adjacent BLM lands.

Weekend Trip to Little Buffalo Cabin

Little Buffalo Cabin was so cute and cozy and perfect for a weekend away. It was clean and well-appointed, with great amenities and amazing views. Plenty of space for our kiddos and dog to run around outside and say hi to the horses, walking distance to the general store and to some of the best pizza, and stocked up with wood for the stove (which we didn’t need to use). We had a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Asha's Retreat

We arrived late at night since our departure was delayed, but the place was easy to find. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to Cripple Creek, where you’ll find casinos, museums, and family-friendly activities. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The loft-style second floor had two beds on each side, hot water worked perfectly, and there was a convenient barbecue setup right in front of the house. We loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, watching the sunrise through the window, and enjoying tea time on the chairs out front—it was truly relaxing. What a beautiful spot! The drive out to the cabin was so beautiful, and honestly a hidden gem of Colorado. We ended up going to see Rita the troll which is about 20 to 30 minute drive, and did a hike to get to the paradise cove / Guffey gorge which was beautiful. it gets a bit hot in the sleeping area up above the kitchen if you use the oven since heat rises but there is a box fan, a porta-poddie and potable drinking water. Their dog Nash was the sweetest thing and we even got to see some wildlife! The main house was a bit closer than we expected based on pictures but we enjoyed every moment of the trip! Thank you Olga for your hospitality!

Another amazing stay at one of the best glamping set ups. The owners are hands on and have put so much thought and care into their property and it shows. They serve one of the best pre-adventure breakfasts known to man. You cannot go wrong staying here, it will be a highlight of your trip. The yurts are incredible and comfortable and the vibes are amazing! Book it already!

We loved everything about the cabin! It is so beautiful! I loved the plethora of hummingbirds! My kids and I really enjoyed exploring their land and it was a great place for all the surrounding areas like Cripple Creek or Victor! We will definitely be coming back for our next glamping adventure! Thank you Olga and Jim!

Weekend Trip to Phantom Canyon Acres

Beautiful place nestled in a mature aspen grove. We had a wonderful time The appliances seemed brand new, and some things are still being dialed in, but this is not a typical cabin. It is indeed cozy--and quite spacious at the same time. The front and back decks are amazing--we spent equal time on each. The property connects directly with public land--this offers the opportunity for greater exploration. Everything is uphill, but it is doable with a bit of effort. We climbed the 1000+ feet to the top of the mountain west of the property for stunning views of the Victor mine and Pikes Peak. Cell service was available quite a bit lower. Jeff, the host, was responsive and super accommodating. We'll be back!

Highly recommend this spot. The cabin was amazing and the bed was great. It was a very hot weekend but the cabin provided enough shade for us and our dog at pretty much all times of the day. Leslie and Tyler were amazing. The biscuits and gravy in the morning is some of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be going back and bringing more people along with us!

We absolutely loved this cabin!!! The pictures are good on the listing but they still don’t capture how truly beautiful and well thought out this property is. The view is stunning from almost every window. The smell is inviting and homey. It’s clean and the decor is perfect everywhere you look. After camping for days my kids loved having a tv which I didn’t realize was included. It was everything we needed and more. We had dinner outback at a little table and watched the horses graze. Pancakes in the morning at the large dining room table for my daughter’s birthday. The fenced yard was awesome for our two dogs and the stars didn’t disappoint during the late night potty session. Highly recommend!
