4. Mountain Exhale Stop

34mi from Larkspur · 1 site · RV
Welcome to Mountain Exhale Stop — a quiet reset in the Colorado foothills. Tucked among tall pines under open sky, this private RV pad is a peaceful pause on your journey — a place to breathe, rest, and reconnect with nature. Whether you’re passing through or exploring the foothills, this spot offers calm, space, and fresh mountain air. The concrete pad fits RVs, vans, and trailers up to 25 feet max. The pad slopes downward, so leveling blocks are required. Due to the layout and approach, travel trailers must back in — there is no turnaround space. There are a few gentle turns on arrival; drive slowly and you’ll settle in easily. This is a self-contained, pack-in/pack-out site designed for guests comfortable with a simple, nature-based stay. There is no bathroom, water fill, or dumping station on site. Power hookup may be available — please confirm before arrival. Generators are not allowed. Days here are slow, quiet, and grounding. Nights are still, dark, and star-filled. You might see elk, deer, or fox wander through (maybe a lucky bear!) — part of the beauty of staying close to the wild. For safety, the driveway entrance is monitored with cameras, but there are no cameras at the pad — your privacy is respected. Pets are welcome and must be leashed outdoors. Please clean up after them so this space stays beautiful for others. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 7 AM — this is a place to unwind, not a party site. Expect cool pine-scented mornings, peaceful sunsets, and the kind of quiet that helps you sleep deeply. This stop is ideal for travelers who appreciate simplicity, nature, open sky, and respectful stillness. If you’re craving mountain air, gentle solitude, and a safe place to land — Mountain Exhale Stop is here for your pause, your breath, and your reset.
