We have some amazing hiking trails and Arapahoe National Forest in our backyard! Maxwell National Trailhead is 9 mins from the property with free parking and free entrance. Cub Creek Trail Head is also around the corner. Evergreen Lake- 15 min car ride. Fishing, kayaking, picnic. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre- 30 min car ride. Summer concerts, and movie nights at the park. Our property is at 10,000 feet in the foothills of the Rockies. The last mile is unpaved and has some steep inclines. We receive quite a lot of snow (Oct-May). We require that guests use AWD/4WD vehicles and winter tires to safely access our dome during snow months. Absolutely loved this spot! The small cabin is very comfortable & has everything you need in regard to chairs, cookware, etc. My only advice would be to be sure to know your way out because Google maps got me there easily but there’s no cell service so be sure to remember your way back. Beautiful lake & Tim was so helpful!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the A frame cabin. The modern and minimalist design was really comfy- we felt right at home. There are many great places to explore and hike nearby. We enjoyed starting and ending our days appreciating the nature views in the living room. The fall was a beautiful time of year to visit and Ernest was a great host!

We loved spending the weekend on this property. It was exactly as pictured and was clean and comfortable. The amenities (hot tub, projector, fire pit) were also great. Hoping I can come back someday! (As a note, the cabin and the dome also on this property are very near by so I didn’t feel secluded, but I generally felt we had the privacy we needed)

This a frame was the perfect weekend get away. It’s spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy. We loved the hot tub, pizza oven, and projector screen. All the amenities you would need to stay in and relax. The property itself is well maintained and even though there are other stays there too it still feels private and quiet.

This was the perfect trip to get a mix of the outdoors with all the comforts of home! We spent so much time using the hot tub and the projector. The kitchen was perfect to make everything we planned and we were so impressed with all of the amenities. There were other people on the property, but we didn’t even notice and had tons of privacy. The house was super clean and so comfortable! We will definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away to the mountains while having all of the comforts of home!

Staff was friendly and helpful, cabin was basic and comfortable. Good value for the money. The bathrooms were.. fine. Kids loved the pool which was an unexpected amenity. The arcade was filled with of classic arcade games but unfortunately many were out of service because, well, they were 30-40 years old. Lone Duck was comfortable, people were quiet and respectful, and overall completely adequate.
