Exploring and experiencing this amazing country, its diversity and incredible people enhanced our lives in so many ways. In mid 2017 we found out our first grandchild was on the way. Long story short we parked the RV and parked ourselves here in Paonia, CO. In December of that year, we moved onto this amazing property full time and started the long list of fix ups (the list is still long). lol We are blessed to have our two adult sons and (aforementioned) grandson living on this property with us. Our philosophy is to live in the moment as the present is the gift. Whether enjoying a sunrise or a sunset or anytime in between you’ll likely find us outside most days. In that, we love all that nature has to offer including fresh fruits and veggies, animals, beauty and fragrances. Sage View Ranch is being created with the desire to have people experience the natural rustic beauty and magic of Paonia. Scott and I look forward to meeting you :)

We are centrally located between Grand Junction/Montrose and the Paiona/Hotchiss/Crawford area of the Western Slope. We are a Coleman sponsored site so everything you need awaits your arrival. 5 gallons of drinking water, 5-6 gallons of washing water, Flashlights, lanterns, fans, Bluetooth speaker, chairs, cooler , wagon, telescope, sun shower , propane grill, dishes for 6 and more!! I had a great time camping at double D Farms Dirk is a really nice guy and it’s beautiful there absolutely beautiful sorry for the delay on the review. Campsite was very clean with an outhouse that you’re available to use. I also got electricity and freshwater great price for those amenities. I plan on camping there again.

This is a great spot on the river, near bike paths and downtown. There were beautiful views and great amenities. Honestly, we caught a great rate for a nightly stay. We would have stayed longer, but the weekly rate was a bit spendy.

It's been wonderful staying here in this property. The owners are very nice people and the property very peaceful. It's surrounded by small farm lands you can bike around and take pictures of different crops. The property has chickens, goats, and a horse. Their outside shower and bathroom are super nice.

We had a great stay here! The hosts were so kind and were so helpful! The bathrooms were clean and it was such a fun spot with all the farm animals around! If you’re a very light sleeper the chickens in the morning could be a little loud but other than that it was so great!

It was pretty close to perfect experience. The bathrooms and showers were clean, heated and private. The tent sites were flat. The location was about a 30 minute drive to Ouray, CO and Black Canyon Gunnison. The location was also 8 minutes to downtown Montrose which had every store you would want. The host Audrey was friendly. The cost was reasonable.

1 night at Tater's Black Canyon Campground

This was a great site! I was worried about being on the north rim of Black Canyon because the “main” stuff is on the south rim but IT WAS SO GREAT! We did the south rim the day before and hit the North Rim morning after (views are 10x better!!) Definitely recommend Tater’s campground, so clean, so comfortable, so serene. Star gazing, stunning views, seclusion, and sweet pets 🩵 Traci + Chris have done a wonderful job.
