Due to the ongoing issues with forest fires in our area and insurance issues at this time, we will no longer have open wood-burning fires. Propane fires are permitted if you have a portable campfire ring, please feel free to bring your own. We do have a couple available for rent onsite.

Glen Isle is located in Bailey, Colorado which is the perfect vacation spot for friends, family, reunions, or a private get away.
Glen Isle was originally built for an escape from hectic Denver. Once you cross the bridge into the resort, you’ll understand why it has served as a peaceful getaway for over a century. The Platte River welcomes you and divides the property from Highway 285. If you love to fish, you have a mile of the river to use at your disposal. If hiking is your forte and you desire to explore nature, Glen Isle is surrounded by the National Forest,
Lost Creek Wilderness, Payne Gulch Trailhead, the Colorado Trail
and many private acres for you to explore.
You will find history narrates the Native American’s story where Glen Isle was once used as an Indian encampment, and numerous trees still stand today that were culturally modified to mark sacred treasures. If you seek tranquility, you will find hummingbirds and chipmunks always seeking an audience to entertain.
Starting June 1st, we will offer evening activities, and campers are welcome to come to the lodge, shop in our gift shop.
We also have snacks for purchase, and popcorn for our guests to enjoy.
(Glorious Glen Isle was unoccupied for six years.
We are in the process of renovating hundred year old
cabins, and the 8,000 square foot lodge.
Our camping areas have a river setting, glorious valley views, and a private setting surrounded by the National Forest.
However, there is renovation and construction going on around some areas of
the property.
Additionally, as you can see from the map and read in a few reviews, we are just on the other side of
the beautiful Platte River from Highway 285.
About 75% of our guests are not bothered by the busyness
of the this highway but others can be more sensitive to the noise.
We want Glen-Isle campers to enjoy their experience as much as possible, so if you would like
more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Glen Isle Resort was opened in 1901, by five original investors.
In 1923, the property was bought by the Baldwin's and in the 1940's it was given to the Baldwin's granddaughter,
Barbara and her husband
Gordon Tripp.
The Tripp family owned and operated the resort until Barbara's death in November 2012.
Mary Ruth grew up coming to Glen Isle Resort as a child in the 1970's.
Her favorite memories are the chuckwagon dinners, horseback riding, evening dances, movie nights, and the endless activities that never grew old.
Mary Ruth grew up, married Greg, and they started bringing their five boys to Glen Isle Resort.
Mary Ruth and Greg were both professionals in education, and visited Glen Isle in the summer of 2016 after an Adele concert.
They found their beloved Glen
Isle was being sold.
After much consideration, they found the idea of not pursuing a dream to be more terrifying than looking back and wondering "why" they didn't...so they began the magical
journey to purchase, restore, and bring historical Glen Isle back to life.

This is a lovely, shaded pull through drive in front of our home, which sits on a quiet street where most parcels are 2 acres or so. There is comfortable patio seating around a propane fire pit table for your use. We have a 30amp hookup, and water is available from a long hose from the house (hose is not rated for potable water but will be fine for washing up). There is a large fenced area where your dog can run free (as long as s/he gets along with our dogs, of course!) We are conveniently located between Evergreen and Conifer, only 11 miles to Red Rocks Amphitheater, and an easy commute to Denver!

A tiny wilderness with a 22 foot Tepee. For one to six guests that is nestled in a pine grove near a small brook, with mountain views, and hiking trails. In a picturesque setting on seven acres, part of the old Granzella estate, that is surrounded by old growth of pine and Aspen forests and meadows at an elevation of 7400 feet. Come enjoy our cozy little oasis.
Easy access, only a minute and a half from Colorado Highway 285, with a variety of different types of restaurants just a couple minutes away, and a few shopping areas in Aspen Park Shopping Center and beyond to the west on 285.
There are different mountain parks such as Meyer Ranch open space park across the valley, a half mile hike from the camp site, with a 4.5 mile hiking trail to the top of the small mountain across the valley
Red Rocks Amphitheater Park in Morrison is a short drive, just at the bottom of the 285 Turkey creek canyon
The well known Tiny Town and it's railroad is just down the road a few miles for the kids of all ages.
Golden and Denver metro are close by, (only 30 - 45 minutes to downtown Denver, and I-25, or 25-40 minutes to Evergreen and I-70), along with all the mountain communities in this area of Highway 285 and I-70 Via Evergreen. Morrison, Conifer, Decker, Pine Junction, Bailey, Grant, Guanella pass

It's much cooler up here at 7450ft.
No fires! Fire is the areas biggest fear.
Check for fire bans. ( currently all summer).
No gas grills, outside smoking or outside fire sources during fire bans.
Bring your sleeping needs, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, an extra cover is good.
With a request at booking, we will only provide air mattresses and cover them with clean sheets.
If you are flying from out of town, we can provide sleeping bags for an additional cleaning cost of $20 per bag.
We suggest a bag for under and over you. Most common cloth sleeping bags are for 40degree nights. You may want two on top, and one under you on a cold spring or fall night!
Don't forget your warmer coat for the cooler evenings. Dress in layers for the fast changing Mountain airs.
A large table for cards and games and some seating is provided. (Please, NO loud parties, NO extra guests.)
Parking is NOT near the campsite, parking is in the driveway of our house with about a 150 foot walk from the parking to the Teepee campsite through a small glen, with natural stone and wood steps for majority of the path.
A WiFi repeater is near the campsite. Ask about connecting and a power source for charging if needed. Please no high amperage power use on the provided source.
(No power source for electric heaters or A/C or electric cooking or RV supply).
There are cozy outside seating areas, a picnic table and other seating for watching Birds and other critters.
This is a wildlife area, Please, no loose dogs! Or Children.
A tiedown spot is provided for your dogs lead, do not use Teepee stakes, cords or loops.
Youngsters and pets are welcome, but must be supervised in this area and cleaned up after. Do not let them damage trees, plants or dig for the moles or harass wildlife. Keep them off the nearby roadway.
Wildlife will kill a dog if a cub or calf is near. Do not let them interact!
The Camping site is near Highway 285 with it's traffic sounds and other roads. Mostly the traffic sounds blends and fades into white noise, but be aware there is almost a constant whoosh from the highway and Turkey Creek road, close by the site.
There is no running water for the site, but we can fill a jug if needed.
A hose, for Fire safety only, is coiled near the site. the valves for the fire hose is at the rear of the house if not already on, and on the post the hose is coiled on near the site.
There is a private composting toilet at the campsite. Please don't use the nearest trees.

You can also walk less than 1 minute to a bus stop which will take you to East to downtown Denver, West to Golden, connects with the Light rail, airport and points in between. Popular Sloans Lake park is 12 blocks away and quieter Crown Hill Lake/Park is about 20 blocks away. We have free WiFi, basic 20 amp electric service and fresh water on a fill-your-tank basis. Standiford Goat and Equine Ranch

Our family-owned noncommercial ranch/campground is nestled against the Raspberry Butte hillside and near the Front Range Mountains on the West side of Highway I-25. It is 51 acres of rolling hills, Ponderosa Pine, and Douglas Fir Trees. Our property extends halfway up Raspberry Butte therefore there are lots of large rocks on our property. It is a working ranch with several horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. WE ARE EXPECTING BABY GOATS AND A FOAL IN APRIL 2024. It is our goal to constantly work towards improving our property.
On our property you will see an enclosure with Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, and two donkeys. You can enter the enclosure by appointment only.
Our eight-stall barn is where we feed our horses and raise our baby goats, chicks, and foals. We offer our hip campers an opportunity to learn how to care for our animals; horseback rides in a round pen; and a dump station. Just sign up at the time you book your stay under EXTRAS.
Thirty acres of our property are fenced for the horses and located directly behind the campsites. In addition, we have lots of wildlife including but not limited to: Deer, Elk, Coyotes, Bobcats, Wild Turkeys, Mountain Lions, Snakes, and Bears.
We are approximately 2 miles from the town of Larkspur between Spruce Mountain Road and Perry Park Road. (Please note Google Maps will try and send you to a location on Perry Park Road which is incorrect. Please refer to the map located on this website.)
Due to our remote location, we have spotty Wifi. Typically ATT, Starlink, and TMobile work best. Verizon reception can be located at certain spots around our ranch.
There are three restaurants located in the town of Larkspur including pizza, Mexican food, and a pub. There is also a large park with lots of kids' play equipment. During the summer there are concerts at the park on the weekends.
We are approximately 2 miles from the Colorado Renaissance Festival located in Larkspur. The Renaissance Festival typically runs between June and July. We are 10 miles from the town of Palmer Lake which has fishing, kayaking, and several restaurants. Spruce Mountain hiking trails are 2-3 miles away.
We are approximately 40 miles north of Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, and Manitou Springs. We are approximately 40 miles south of Denver and all of its attractions.
Campers will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability when camping with us. The following is a copy of the Waiver:
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
IN CONSIDERATION OF the risk of injury that exists while participating in CAMPING (hereinafter the “Activity) and
IN CONSIDERATION OF my desire to participate in said activity and being given the right to participate in same:
I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, (thereinafter collectively, “Releasor”, “I”, or “me”, which terms shall also include: Releasor’s parents or guardian if Releasor is under 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and
I HEREBY, release and forever discharge Clint and Teresa Standiford (Standiford Ranch LLC) located at 1225 Fox Farm Road, Larkspur, Colorado 80118, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assigns (collectively “Releasees”), from any physical or psychological injury that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity.
I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE AFOREMENTIONED ACTIVITY AND I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY AT MY OWN RISK. A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp.
We have a hot tub [CURRENTLY DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE 05/02-05/15], grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from our property. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Tent sites are just a short walk, about 100 feet, up to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
Our guests love us too! "First time Hipcamper and A-Lodge visitor here, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re traveling to the Boulder area. The tent platforms were easy to get to and spaced far enough apart for privacy and generally a nice break from setting up a tent on a gravel pad. WiFi was stable throughout my visit and I was able to get some work done before heading home."

Beautiful Mountains & Manomay Acres

We are located at 8000 feet (altitude sickness is a concern up here for some) in Golden Gate Canyon. The Canyon is just above Golden and is a 20 minute ride down the mountain to town center. Our property sits on 2 fenced acres along a quiet road in a horse community. There is ample uncovered parking.
Our neighborhood includes the Ralph Schnell entrance to Centennial Cone Park. Here there are miles of trails to hike, trail ride and mountain bike. The park is just over a mile from the property. We are 20 minutes to Golden, 40-50 minutes to Denver, just over an hour to Loveland Ski Area, an hour and 40 minutes to Breckenridge. Golden Gate Canyon State Park and Eldora are between 15 minutes to just over an hour. Climbing, fishing, paddling, white-water rafting, and all things snow are nearby. If you like to golf, you cannot do much better than the Fossil Trace city course in Golden. It is open year round provided no snow on the ground.
From either of the decks of the house, you can spot many different kinds of wildlife (if you’re fortunate). We have everything in the area, Coyotes, Moose, Elk, Deer, Fox, Big Cats, Bear, etc. There are binoculars for daytime viewing and a telescope for an amazing night sky completely clean of light pollution. During certain times of the year, The Big Dipper hangs over the hill behind our back deck.
The back deck has a gas grill, gas firepit, and seating. Cornhole is available for relaxing fun. The front deck is best for the sunrise with your coffee as it is the warmest.
The driveway is asphalt, “relatively” flat and easy to level your RV. Water and Electric are included. If you are coming in the winter, you will need AWD if there is snow or any chance of snow during your stay. It is a very winding, curvy, single lane, ride. Cell service depends on your carrier. ATT we have 5g, Verizon next to nothing.
