If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. The camping spot at Lauren’s place was beautiful and had a nice prairie dog welcoming committee. I got to see a nice sunset and sunrise. She was very good with her communication and the extension cord that she provided was greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m driving through Colorado.

Nestled in a sweet road just outside of town, we still got all the mountain vibes with the convenience of getting quickly to town. Amelia was responsive and friendly. We met her at her tea shop in town and she was personable and helpful. Would stay again next time we are in the area. And the cute wild turkeys roaming the property were bonus!

My family and I really enjoyed camping at Dot and Byron's boondocking site. I have a 24 ft. travel trailer which fit nicely in their spot. The area is beautiful to say the least. Dot and Byron were very hospitable and very helpful in many ways to include providing information on the area and helping me get my camper in place. It was quiet and peaceful even with other guests on site. Initially, the proximity of the workshop and permanent trailer was slightly off putting but with all the goodness that feeling faded fast. We had a great time and I felt relaxed there.

Great if your'e in a self contained rig. No hook ups or amenities, but very cheap, flat, and close to the mountains. Very quiet, lots of prairie dogs and rabbits. Ground did get a little muddy after 2 days straight of rain, but wasn't as bad as it could have been. Communication was pretty minimal, which is no problem for me. Host gave me a dozen eggs i assume they farmed. They had a spigot and a dumpster, but no electric plugins or sewer.

Weekend Trip to Perfect Driveway To Park In Denver

Park in my driveway is a perfectly named spot and excellent location! The host, Michelle was super helpful (proving helpful info before our trip) and very supportive and accommodating during! The driveway is well suited to parking a trailer and vehicle and in a great location - easy access to parks (for dog walking) and the highway. I would 100% recommend this location and host for your stay if a local easy to access spot is what you are looking for!

Dot and Byron’s place was fantastic! We were in town for the Elk rut, RMNP, and Estes park. It was the perfect distance for privacy, but not too far away from Estes. They were great host and directions were perfect! We will definitely be staying again!
