For 21 years, we have worked on keeping this property as a Sacred Space. There's a meadow with an Indian artifact and amazing views. We are a team, husband and wife, this is off-the-grid and we raise our children here. At the same time, we grow organic food and work on our crafts and spiritual practice, never using chemical fertilizers, and keeping all of the groundwater clear and clean with an abundance of spring water for drinking. This is a magical forest retreat and we love to share it with others who are like-minded. Right out of the Mendocino National Forest, 100-Acre Forest and Meadow Retreat is just minutes to the Eel River out of the small town of Potter Valley and 15 minutes to Lake Pillsbury. Private views, fresh spring water and endless possibilities. *******We also recommend that you have AWD or 4x4 vehicle, as the road is dirt coming in and the campsite are up the mountain off of a dirt road*******We have 2 campsites currently with fresh spring water, and fire pits. Private and in the woods. Lots of hiking on the land, with stunning views. Bring your own tent, hammock, food whatever you need to be a happy camper!! In the spring of 2019 we added in 2 new yurt sites, with soaking tubs, filled with hot spring water. We have 2 campsites to book for regular camping tents and we just added a community bathroom . Nestled away in the forest very private queen size bed natural spring water for soaking in the tub on your porch. In addition for comfort and convenience we have a nice bathroom with hand-washing station. Each yurt can come with propane heat in winter time you need to request it, in the Extras. making it cozy all year long. *******We also recommend that you have AWD or 4x4 vehicle, as the road is dirt coming in and the campsite are up the mountain off of a dirt road*******.

Welcome to the 2026 Season! The skies are blue, the lavender is blooming and we're looking forward to seeing you! If you're checking the temperatures in Ukiah, please know that due to our elevation of 2,400' we're always 6 to 10 degrees cooler than the valley. It's rarely too hot up here to enjoy the always gorgeous great outdoors! Stay in one of our private, beautifully furnished platform tents and enjoy the gorgeous mountain views from your own front porch while you breath in the fragrant lavender scented air and settle into the quiet surroundings. If you're planning on bringing a dog, we're happy to welcome them as well and with 15 fenced acres, it's a slice of Dog Heaven. Just look at the "Extras" section and click on it to add your furry family member to your reservation. Please note Ranger is the farm cat and if your pup isn't cat friendly, please leave them on leash until everyone's acquainted. We're fortunate to have Orr Hot Springs just down the road (you'll need a reservation), as well as a gorgeous protected redwood forest at Montgomery Woods where you can take an unforgettable hike in some of the most majestic redwoods on the west coast. The newly renovated 2 mile trail is a fun and easy hike for everyone. At night you'll see stars like you've never seen them before. Enjoy them from your tent or with the other guests at the communal gas fire pit near the barn. We're a working lavender farm; harvesting for culinary use and dried bundles as well as making our own line of essential oils which you can experience by booking one or both of the "Extras" offerings. We're very proud of our oils and know you'll be surprised by how immediately they regulate your nervous system and calm your mind. You're welcome to participate in whatever we're doing on the farm during your stay, just let us know, we'd love the help! 💜 Please plan on checking-in before 7:30pm, we work hard and really need our sleep. : ) Note: We strongly suggest that if you're visiting with children, you book Site 1. It's on flat ground where as Site 2 is on a hill. The mountains, the stars, the lavender and the peaceful quiet of Nature are just what your soul needs. We hope to welcome you soon. Ettawa Springs Resort dates back to the 1920s like the fashionable resorts in the Cobb area where the rich and famous came to play. But Ettawa was oriented towards families and a more relaxed and rustic atmosphere. We are working hard to restore her to her former glory. We are excited to announce that we have one cabin and a few campsites ready for use and will be adding more as we go. The campground offers hot showers and flush toilets, two sites in the Glade have running water and power. The cabin is a fully equipped studio with kitchen and bathroom. You can hike through our property to the Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest or just enjoy the clean air and listen to the wind and the birds. On clear nights the stars put on an amazing show. Clear Lake is about 45 minutes away with all the fishing and water sports you could ask for. Harbin Hot Springs are 15 minutes away and they offer day passes for reasonable rates. We are located about 20 minutes outside of Middletown. Be aware that half of the road is dirt (and that's better than the asphalt half) all of it is fine for small cars, just take your time. The last 1/2 mile or so is a one lane road, so please be careful of opposing traffic and uneven surfaces. We cannot accommodate vehicles longer than 28’ on these roads. Please do not take County Road 110 from Boggs/Cobb - it is not maintained at all. We offer California camping at its finest. Fresh air, whispering trees, amazing star fields . . . this can mean the less attractive side of nature as well. We have ticks, rattlesnakes, stinging things, poison oak, uneven trails and surfaces, and a bear on one ridge with mountain cats on the other (no sign of either in the campground). We keep the restroom stocked with Tecnu for the poison oak, but please watch yourselves and especially children. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on lead and inside at night for their own protection and the comfort of others. We are fairly hands off in our hosting approach. Unless there's a question or problem, you likely won't see us. But we have people close by and are only a message away.

Poleeko Ranch is a 47-acre, 1200 organic fruit tree working farm that offers beautiful views, plenty of space and trails.  Five years in the making this beautiful property is owned and managed by friends that grew up in Northern California and would drive through the gorgeous Anderson Valley, 15 miles from the rugged Pacific coast and 22 miles from the quaint town of Mendocino. When this 3rd generation orchard became available between two of the best Pinot Noir wineries in the world, they jumped at the chance to start farming apples, pressing cider and exploring the profession of the first three U.S. presidents. We hope you enjoy Poleeko (Boontling for Philo) Ranch as much as we do!

Surrounded by cooperate timberland,  it feels like there are no neighbors!  There is not a house in sight but the the ridge views seem to go on forever!  - There is a simple latrine at each site. A full bath house with a flush toilet and hot shower is available next to the main house. A water spigot is attached to the main house. - Spare camping supplies are available by the bath house if you forget something! Ask ahead if you need to borrow a specific item. More about the property: I built my home high upon a southern ridge. Watching the river of coastal fog flow in and out below me is one of the most wonderful views to behold! I have 30 acres of land to explore and camp upon in the surrounding redwood forest. 10 miles east are Montgomery Woods redwood preserve with GIANT trees, and a little farther, perhaps a mile is the famous Orr Hot Springs Resort. If you drive a half hour west from my land you will be in the coastal Mendocino village. We are marijuana friendly!! Thus, we have created more of an adult oriented atmosphere. one last note: We recently made separate listings for different sites. See campsite #1 for reviews.Guests love staying here "What a fantastic experience. I arrived to Cosmo’s super late after a long day going up the coast. It was a last minute book that morning, if I remember right - my campsite had fallen through. His directions were spot on, and very kindly he stayed up to take me to my site and help me get set up, even going so far as to light me a fire. His property was easily navigable in the dark, and my two wheel drive made it fine. We talked for a while - what a cool guy. He was able to give me recommendations from a friend of what to do during the next legs of my trip, which was great and really did make a difference for the rest of my week. I cooked my dinner and sat stunned looking at some of the best stargazing I’ve had in a long time. When I woke up I realized that I had been sleeping next to a mountainside view - this was site 3. Talk about the best surprise I’ve gotten in a while unzipping a tent. The clouds were gathered in the valley and as I ate breakfast I got to watch the sun slowly clear then out. It was unbelievable. Before I left, Cosmo let me use his indoor solar-heated shower and told me all about his projects to build his own home and roads and move towards a more sustainable future. Overall this is really the best of what I imagine hipcamp has to offer - kind property owners & unique individuals who care about their guests while also allowing them to have their own experience. If I’m ever near Mendocino I will gladly make the trip inland to stay at his property again."
