I loved loved loved my stay. I was expecting to share the cabin with others, but got lucky and had it all to myself. The cabin was clean and cozy with a nice mattress. I didn't use the AC at all just slept with the windows open. I had an an amazing view of the night sky. The grounds are large but everyone staying there was clean and quiet. The only suggestion that I can think of is adding curtains to each bunk to give some privacy and block out light. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a great time! The person at the welcome desk was very friendly and helpful. It was nice that they had a shop with necessities like ice, water and firewood we could purchase in case we ran out. The place looked just like the photos, it felt bigger inside the container than it looks. It was clean and felt secure. The bed was firm but not too firm. Others mentioned about the fire pit and grill being shared so we were prepared in case that happened by bringing extra seats for the fire pit area but for us there was no one else so it was nice to have to ourselves. We plan to return!

I really enjoyed my stay here at the Cabins at Joshua Tree. The property was easy to find and navigate to, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and decorated nicely. I stayed 2 nights in June and happened to be the only person in the dorm. The AC worked as best it could in the hot summer weather. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. They have lockers with keys for your use (no need to bring your own). I was unprepared for the port-potty situation, but it was cleaner than you’d imagine. I like the outdoor shower situation and the cold shower felt nice, but unfortunately the showers weren’t as clean as I was expecting so overall my shower was quick. I appreciate that they didn’t mind my late arrivals each night, security was super friendly. Overall, it was a quiet stay, very cute, and with managed expectations — think glamping — it was just what I was seeking. Thanks!

Almost perfect. This is an amazing site -- big enough for 100 people! We only had 9 and used a tiny part of the site. There is no running water (we knew that). The drive only took about 2.5 hours from the south bay. There is nice shade and the canyon feels secluded and remote. The only downside is that you can hear the traffic on the highway. Not loud, but breaks the illusion of being in the wild. We camped next to the picnic tables and the RV. Perhaps if we kept driving deeper into the canyon the would be no noise. The porta potty was nice and clean. There were two hammocks setup. The host was very helpful and responsive. He recommended an excellent hike with just a 5 min drive.
