There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. Campers are welcome year-round to this tent site on the old Gold Claim of our 20-acre family farm! Drive right up to this fun-filled, family-friendly campsite, easily accessible by cars and SUVs alike - though 4WD is helpful during the rainy season. This site features two seasonal streams that cross on the property, as well as bushes full of ripe blackberries - if you catch them at the right time, help yourself. Tents can be pitched on the elevated decks. Our waterfront has a large fire ring, 2-covered pergolas, canoes, kayaks, life jackets and charcoal grill. Lots of fish in the lake, since this is a private lake, no license is required. There is also a bathhouse (very primitive and in serious need of remodel) close by with 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks. Up by the lodge is a cell phone charging station and Wi-Fi with Starlink connection. No dispersed camping. RV CAMPING: Because of the steep driveway and blind curve, we limit the vehicle length to 25 overall length. Our driveway is more suitable for RV's and Camper Vans and not Travel Trailers being towed. If you rent a kiosk, all campers must be on the same kiosk unless you rent a second kiosk. If you have a camping van and plan on using the van and the kiosk, then that is a second site. You cannot tailgate on a reservation just because the party only has 2 people on the kiosk, and you have 2 in the Van to make 4 people. These are tents sites on a Kiosk, there is parking for cars or trucks at the kiosk, not suitable for RV or Travel Trailers. Those vehicles will have to park at the waterfront parking lot. Quail Ridge RV Park has 17 acres nestled in the Plumas National Forest. We do NOT have direct water access. We are surrounded by four lakes, with Sly Creek and Lost Lake Reservoirs being the closest (about 3 mi. north of us), two major rivers and Feather Falls, the 3rd largest waterfall in California. Outdoor activities abound with fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking trails and mountain biking trails. You can also explore the local rivers and try your luck at gold panning. Our park is primarily divided into three areas: (1) we have 7 dedicated RV sites for weekend RV's that have full hook-ups, which include 30/50 amp. electric, water and septic connection (no pull through sites); (2) an area in the middle of the park where permanent residents live; and (3) a large area for volleyball, lounging, and playground on the opposite side of the park. Sorry, but due to the always present fire danger, no wood burning fires are allowed. You may use your own propane fire ring or propane or charcoal grill. We have clean laundry and showers and flush toilets on the north side of the park. There is one shower and one flush toilet for each men and women that are handicapped accessible. Showers cost $1 for 12 minutes of hot water. Cell phone service is spotty. AT&T/Cricket and sometimes Verizon work the best. We now have free Wi-Fi in the park! Quail Ridge RV Park is very pet friendly, and we have a beautiful new dog park for our 4-footed friends. However, we cannot accept aggressive breed dogs, or Pit-Bull mixed dogs (sorry, but our insurance company restricts these breeds). Please identify the dog breed when you are making a reservation. Also i personally did not appreciate the neighbors dog roaming around but im not a dog person so there’s that, and it’s not like they can do anything about it anyway. The camp host came out to meet each arriving party and guide them to their spot (as most of us rolled in after dark). Later she started a bonfire, and for the next couple of hours folks congregated in small groups talking about where they had been and where they were going. Very enjoyable social experience. Cooking facilities were excellent. They are outdoor, but it does not often rain here. Wind was moderate the night I was there. Two bathrooms (flush toilets and running water) quite close to the campsites.

This is the most incredible property, with the most incredible host! A peaceful sanctuary that allows one to get back in alignment with their own self in a lovely natural setting. I HIGHLY recommend for women on a healing journey, artists and writers needing to clear out blocks, or spiritual seekers in need of some sanctuary! This place has all the "magicalness" of Sedona & Mt. Shasta! A yearly visit is now on my calendar in order to give myself a much needed retreat! Camping at Willow woods was beautiful and private and I loved watching the Beavers, Owls, and Hawks. I also stayed at Tiny Blue, which was so comfortable, had beautiful views, and lots of cool outdoor sitting areas. The tiny kitchen had everything I needed and gave me the luxury of staying for an entire week! You can tell that Wendy loves being a host and believes in the sanctity of what she has created here, and it's reflected in every detail of the property itself and within her personal enthusiasm! This truly is a "choose your own adventure" experience!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars!
