My husband and I (and our dog!) celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Cozy Cabin. Lynda and Rich have created an adorable creekside oasis! From hanging out on the comfortable porch to walking our dog around the creek, in the woods and to the skatepark to our nightly activity of watching the bats swooping over the creek with a warm fire. The cabin has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. We highly recommend The Cozy Cabin and we'll be back!

The art studio was an incredibly unique and enjoyable experience. At first glance at the listing and the communications it might feel like there’s a lot of instructions. But once you are in the space it all makes sense, and you want to protect and respect the beauty Bill has created. There were so many sweet, and special touches. Fresh cut flowers, coffee and treats in the morning. While the room you sleep is cold and uninsulated, the bed is one of the most comfortable ones I’ve slept in away from home with a heated mattress and the most luxurious linen sheets. We loved the hot tub, the grounds and all the unique decor and structures. You will not regret booking your stay.

1 night at Swallowtail Historic Art Studio

The Indonesian wood cabin was adorable and in amazing shape as a true antique building. It was a step back in time where people lived more simply. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing and clean with a scenic view off the deck. The artistic touches throughout were beautiful and interesting to look at. The host Bill was very sweet and accommodating. I would love to see what the other structures on the property are like inside. Very unique and salt of the earth experience. Close to town but rural enough to hear the owls and coyotes at night.

1 night at Creekside Zen Writer's Cabin

We were amazed at the creative implementation for a Japanese experience in a small CA mountain town. The private unit was authentically designed and furnished with the peaceful Japanese influences both interior and exterior! The cedar wooden furo/hot tub was very special being surrounded by bamboo walkways and nighttime lighting to the delightful flowing creek below the property. Definitely a rejuvenating atmosphere!

Weekend Trip to Wackalulu's Wonderland

Wackalulu's Wonderland felt like a luxurious retreat. The cabin felt private, but was close enough to shared spaces to enjoy those amenities as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to grill up some lovely meals and the mini fridge was a generous size. Very comfy bed, incredible shower, and we absolutely loved using the hot tub! The creek side seating area was amazing for bird watching in the day and bat watching at night. The property is covered in whimsical touches that create a retreat that is brimming with heart and joy.

We love this place and come back every year. It's beautiful, peaceful and private, with a creek running behind the cabin and the woods all around. There are lots of water related activities nearby because of the river and Armstrong Park with the redwoods is also quite close. A gem for sure!

Weekend Trip to Wackalulu's Wonderland

A place to have a restorative retreat. Tall trees, many birds singing, and a creek. We had everything we needed in our cabin to just stay put or go out on day adventures, depending on our moods. The furniture was super comfy; we had oodles of areas to sit and ponder life. We had everything we needed including a hot tub, a kitchen area, 4-piece bath, a porch, a living area. Everything was clean and organized. The hosts were a treat and we are going back.

Weekend Trip to Cobb Mtn Retreat Cabin w/ Hot Tub

Brett’s place is lovely, it’s a very nice home in a beautiful spot. We had a great time exploring the area. We appreciate that it was dog friendly. We were able to hang out at Clear Lake and there are many wineries in the area along with cute breakfast spots and shops. Going home at the end of our day to hang in the hot tub was the best. Brett is super nice, I ended up accidentally leaving my drivers license there and he was able to help me get in touch with the house cleaner Maria who sent it in the mail. I really appreciated them. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to CAMP CAZ

What a wonderful cabin in a beautiful and peaceful setting! We made use of all the spaces and amenities this cabin had to offer and could not be happier with our weekend away. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare our meals, the fireplace added a beautiful ambiance, and we dined al fresco for every meal with the sounds of birds and the river in the distance. We spent a spectacular afternoon lounging in the sun and swimming in the river which felt very private and secluded. It was our own little slice heaven. We filled the outdoor clawfoot tub with hot water and bubbles and had a very romantic moment looking out onto the forest through the hanging ivy. Our whole stay was fantastic and Carrie's communication was excellent the entire time. We will absolutely be coming back.

Awesome place and beautiful setting, which was made perfect by our host Lynda! From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure Lynda was always available and very helpful for any questions and assistance. The detail and fun that went in to this site is truly unique, fun, and peaceful. Lots of areas to relax alone or gather together. The creekside setting was gorgeous. The cabin was fully stocked and well set for anything you might need. We plan on coming back!

The creek is so lovely. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Soaking tub was wonderful, lots of books to read, record player, and butterflies and birds to watch all day long. Thanks so much for sharing your space.

3 nights at Cobb Mtn Retreat Cabin w/ Hot Tub

Wow - what a wonderful spot! We were greeted with a very clean, open and refreshing house. It is impressive how mindfully designed and well-appointed it is, with pleasant textures, textiles, colors and artful touches throughout, as well as numerous large windows to let the outside in. The comfortable seating areas are perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful, woodsy setting both indoors and out. The hot tub area is great too - perfectly designed for privacy & relaxation. The house was well-stocked with items that are often not provided at house rentals, such as Kleenex, a variety of cooking spices, every kitchen tool I needed (and we cooked every meal at the house during our 3-night stay), Tupperware perfect for picnics, coffee supplies, etc. Well done! It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about, but you also don't because you want it to be available for your next getaway!

Weekend Trip to CAMP CAZ

What a special spot - both inside and out we loved Camp Caz. Lounging by the river and exploring the banks with kids was super fun. We did s’mores outside, hung out in hammocks on the deck, grilled and after Al fresco. Inside was cozy and big bonus to have a full kitchen and bath in a remote setting. Highly recommend, perfect for a family of four.

What a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area! Our two kids (3 and 5), husband, pup and I had a wonderful time exploring the property and creek. Hammock time was very popular, too! It was clear from all the small touches around the cabin and property that the owners really care about and invest in the place. We will be back!

What a gorgeous and special place! The rooms are beautifully designed with endless interesting anrt and books to check out. The hot tub with a view is the perfect way to unwind, and I was lucky enough to hear great horned owls at night. Coffee and breakfast in the morning were an unexpected and lovely treat. Absolutely great place to stay!

Each of the listings has it's own private deck or patio and then you have access to all of the common areas on the propertyWe promise you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are minutes from everything.Lulu’s Landing and Captain Wack’s Cove is a pirate-themed Creekside hangout, where you can enjoy a fire, except during banned season. Also a great place to capture a glimpse of the numerous critters that cruise our creek. Foxes, Deer, Squirrels, Otters, Ducks and Herons as well as numerous songbirds that feed from our bird feeder.Lulu’s Lanai is a Flamingo-themed outdoor living room and dining area with fun vintage furniture and décor.The Take- A -Liki- Tiki Shower Shack is a great place to cool off and clean up after a day on the river or exploring tidepools at the coast. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Zac Brown, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor are just a few Headliners that have been here in the past.We have a great Lightwave coffee shop across the creek that is a quick 5 minute walk. Your camp site is at the end of the road and very private. The main house is pretty much out of sight but close enough if you need anything. The views of the mountains, Jerusalem Valley and soda creek are amazing and endless!! Our ranch is nudest friendly and Harbin hot Springs is 20 minute drive from the Mesa. Your campsite has a cast iron tub for soaking day or night and an on demand hot water heater power shower when solar is not available. Water is piped to camp however we are an absolutely NO camp fire camp until further notice. Thank you for understanding ♾🙏 This is a ranch with many animals including four sweet but dirty dogs, a pony, goat, 4 ducks, 3 turkeys and a few chickens running around.... Although they all hang out by the main house for the most part you might be visited by the free rangers...especially if you dish out any petting be prepared to give some more 😂 If animals aren’t your thing just tell them to go home they understand that! Because of the high amount of animals here that are free range dogs are not allowed at this time sorry..... anyone under 18 must be under parental supervision at ALL times. The cliffs here are very dangerous and must be respected by all ages with a safe distance back of five to ten feet from the edge at all times.
