It was Then That "Corporations" began Buying Up Fertile FarmLand, Clear Cutting, Mono-Cropping. Creating Corporate "Grocery Store" Chains DESTROYING "The Family Farm." My Son's Father & I Rescued This Land in 1998. It was Derelict. We were Handed A 1' HIGH FILE FULL OF Building Department "Violations" The Oaks were ALL Dying from Lack Of Fresh Air/Oxygen & Sunshine. We Removed (8) 5 TON DUMPSTERS/40 TONS OF GARBAGE INCLUDING: Cars, Car Parts/Tires, Toilets, Jacuzzi Tubs, Dishware, Newspapers, Utensils++. We Picked Up EVERY Chard of Glass from Broken Beer Bottles, EVERY Bottle Cap, EVERY Cigarette Butt. Which ARE NOT BIODEGRADABLE. It was A "Travesty." And... "A Labor Of Love."

Although Morgan(the owner) has retired, he's made his property to feel as if you're in the middle of the woods complete with swimming hole, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, sauna and more!
Our trailer and cave shower entrance are on the smaller size and may not be comfortable for larger bodied individuals.

Such a cute, private spot near the city. The canned ham may be small but it is so cozy and full of character. The bed was very comfy, and we appreciated a kettle being provided. We did need to pick up our own mugs, so keep that in mind if you like a warm beverage in the morning. The cooler is convenient, but we wouldn’t advise expecting it to function as a fridge. The space around the camper is very private feeling with trees around it. The hot tub is such a lovely addition and was fun to use.
The whole property is very dreamy. There was plenty of space for eating outdoors. Although the weather for us didn’t permit using the pool, it was so beautiful to look at. The bathroom is just a short walk away, and has awesome decor. We would advise bringing sandals or slides for walking to and from the bathroom and shower. The shower is a fun experience, although it’s important to note it’s quite small (width wise) to enter into the cave area. It’s not feasible for dressing in there, so you will also need to be comfortable walking back in your towel or a robe.
The road to the home is very steep and narrow. Street parking is limited but we didn’t have an issue finding parking every night, even when we came back later.
There are a couple of cats on the property that visited us and were so cute and friendly. We also got to meet Morgan who was very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

Wonderful services and even better property. Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. This spot is absolutely amazing. It's super hidden but only two minutes from the city and anything you may need, that said it feels like a world away. The property, pool and everything else were great. There is so much cool hidden art to discover and the retro decor is awesome. Morgan and Brooke were super nice and helpful giving us a tour and we had everything we needed for the night. The camper was super comfy with warm bedding and it is literally one step to your private hot tub. Some reviews mentioned tight spaces, and it is a small camper but I'm 6'2 and big guy and me and girlfriend fit totally fine and the bed was more than big enough. I can't say enough good things about this spot! I would just make you you bring what you need. We had takeout delivered and brought our own drinkware. A small mini fridge was provided which was perfect for us, but they have a giant outdoor kitchen you can add on if you need more than that! Can't wait to come back to stay, and to rent the pool in the summer! Awesome cute cats too!

As soon as you step foot on the property you feel like you’ve left the hustle and bustle of LA, the outdoor space has a 60’s Yosemite National Park vibe. The decor is adorable with lots of fun things to discover. Everything is perfectly laid out, great landscaping with ambient lighting at night, paths to multiple sitting locations and a cute little smoking area. The bathroom is a short walk from trailer. Plenty of nice clean towels! The pool is beautiful with a cool little grotto sitting area, water slide with water fall. Cave shower that was a fun experience.
Morgan and Brooke created something special with this place. They were both kind and helpful with questions. Morgan is a fascinating guy and he even invited us to his dj gig which we loved. They have an amazing catio for their sweet cats.
The camper is adorable! The mattress was very comfortable, we slept well! Loved watching the funny horror movies streaming on Night Flight! There’s cozy extra blankets, gorgeous wood interior, adorable dining area. Lots of storage space for our carry ons and supplies. Many windows, a fan for air flow, kept things cool.
Outside the camper Morgan set up a refrigerated cooler. The hot tub is perfect for two people with a lovely view. It was so relaxing and had a secluded feel to the space. Loved it!
There’s a trashcan next to the camper, ample recycling & trash cans throughout the property. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, parked car close to the property with street parking.

When I tell you hands down this was THE trip of the summer, I mean it! Lisa is incredibly kind, and her campsite gave everything it was supposed too! She is such a PHENOMENAL person, with a beautiful heart and spirit! My son and I had a blast, and her recommendation for the Sunday Brunch spot exceeded expectations! It was something out of a story book! Thank you for such a rich experience and memories that will last a lifetime! We will definitely return! Such a magical spot! The sweetest little trailer and hot tub. It’s super cozy and well equipped with electricity and TV. The place is a real wonderland.
Note that trailer is very tiny, so not easy to navigate for bigger folks. Bathroom is an easy walk, awesome and provides towels. This is an amazing staycation—you really feel like you escaped LA.

Canned Ham and the White Lodge Pool are so fun, not at all what you would expect in the big city! Cozy trailer, hot sauna, cool pool, shower cave & hot tub are just the amenities I had time to take advantage of in my short overnight stay.

We love staying in safe, welcoming places with personality and hospitality. This place has it all with fun details everywhere. When we were surprised by spring showers, the hosts had umbrellas ready for us!

My partner and I stayed for the night for a little staycation in town and the jacuzzi was perfect (with a view!), the bed was super comfy, and overrall this space is just really cool! The bathroom was adorable and kept heated as it was rainy outside (nice).

This was a the most pleasant little spot for me and my partner to stop over at for the night! The property has a really cool little 60’s Disneyland take on Yosemite theme, the vintage trailer bed was cozy and comfortable and the hot tub view is incredible. What a dream! Thanks, Morgan and Brooke!

I got to be the first guest at this incredible location. Morgan has done an amazing job transforming his yard into an oasis that will make you forget you are in LA. From the gorgeous pool with water slide, to a waterfall, koi pond, hot tub and sauna. And yes, even the antique camper is so fun to stay in. But only after you wander around for a while here, do you actually start to see the attention to detail everywhere you look. I could tell that this was more than a way to make some money for Morgan, this had to be a dream come to life for him. As a host, Morgan was very accommodating and friendly.
I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a fun enjoyable stay in LA

Weekend Trip to Caravan Outpost - Ojai Oasis!
We had a great stay at Caravan Outpost. The airstream was clean and had all the necessities for our stay. The area is safe and well thought out. It is close to downtown as well. Overall, it was a great experience.
