The campground offers hot showers and flush toilets, two sites in the Glade have running water and power. The cabin is a fully equipped studio with kitchen and bathroom. You can hike through our property to the Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest or just enjoy the clean air and listen to the wind and the birds. On clear nights the stars put on an amazing show. Clear Lake is about 45 minutes away with all the fishing and water sports you could ask for. Harbin Hot Springs are 15 minutes away and they offer day passes for reasonable rates. We are located about 20 minutes outside of Middletown. Be aware that half of the road is dirt (and that's better than the asphalt half) all of it is fine for small cars, just take your time. The last 1/2 mile or so is a one lane road, so please be careful of opposing traffic and uneven surfaces. We cannot accommodate vehicles longer than 28’ on these roads. Please do not take County Road 110 from Boggs/Cobb - it is not maintained at all. We offer California camping at its finest. Fresh air, whispering trees, amazing star fields . . . this can mean the less attractive side of nature as well. We have ticks, rattlesnakes, stinging things, poison oak, uneven trails and surfaces, and a bear on one ridge with mountain cats on the other (no sign of either in the campground). We keep the restroom stocked with Tecnu for the poison oak, but please watch yourselves and especially children. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on lead and inside at night for their own protection and the comfort of others. We are fairly hands off in our hosting approach. Unless there's a question or problem, you likely won't see us. But we have people close by and are only a message away.

We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. If you are susceptible, bring and wash with Tecnu. Or use dish soap and wash. Poison oak is an oil. Most importantly: Don't Touch. No Fires allowed during Summer months. Be super careful. No candles. Smoke in fire pit area. Grass is a tinderbox. 1 spark can ignite all. There is a hose connected to kitchen. There is a Pet Fee stay. 1 pet per site allowed unless prior arrangement made. You are responsible to clean up after your pet and to make sure pet is safe and respectful to neighbors. This means you DO NOT leave your pet unattended, and is leashed at all times. If your pet is barking continuously, we ask that you leave. It is not respectful for all other neighbors. Please bring your own bed for your dogs and clean up after a shedding dog if you are indoors. We ask that guests clean up your camping spot upon departure to 'make the place better than before' for the next guests. Butterfly Landing is a sweet landing spot! Birds, butterflies and small wildlife love this spot. The habitat includes many native species of plant life. A pretty knoll that is on the top of a 40 acre property. Views of vineyards, redwood trees, valley floor, and expansive sky. Private, Quiet and beautiful. A central sunny meadow ties together 3 distinct private areas with a communal kitchen, bath-house, picnic-table sitting area and parking on the side. There is 1 outhouse that has a mailbox system to ensure privacy. (Please read manual on picnic table for instructions) Kitchen. 2 burner propane stove, and sink with running water (cold). (Good for drinking. Pressure is low) There is basic cooking and dishware. Cleaning supplies. A Trash and Recycle Bin. And a Compost bucket where all food scraps should be disposed of and then covered with wood-chips. Kitchen should stay clean at all times. Please put dishes away in the tote to keep clean and critter free. Bath-house. Shower with hot water. 1 shared Outhouse. Please use the path that goes to the outhouse (unless you are in the Greenroom) and make sure you put the mailbox red flag up so that others know it is occupied. ((Then don't forget to put it back down!!) Common sitting area. There are 2 picnic tables, Lots of umbrellas that can be moved wherever, a fire pit/table and lots of seating. Parking. There are room for 3 vehicles. Parking is to be in designated parking area please. Sunny meadow and forest shade make this a lovely landing spot to relax and enjoy nature, and a great opportunity to turn off those cell phones!! Butterfly Landing is about 1/2 mile from HWY 128 that runs through Anderson Valley. This location is the perfect location for it all. Wine tasting in the Valley, Navarro River swimming during the summer months, and the Mendocino coast is nearby. This is an Honor system camping spot. We ask that you leave your spot 'better than before', as in 'Leaver no Trace'. I rely on everyone to do their part in the communal kitchen to keep clean and free of critters. SUPER IMPORTANT to put all food scraps in the compost bin. NO food anything in the trash. This is how the bears show up. Please do your part. Thank you so much. Such a cute place! The drive up is scenic, and the view off the balcony is gorgeous. Outdoor shower felt like a dream. Sunny was one of the friendliest, loveliest hosts I’ve ever had. Adored her kids and sweet sweet dogs. Echo bravely protected the land from late night critters and stayed by us at our campfire 🥹 would absolutely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Glynraven Gardens

Glynraven Gardens was one word: PEACEFUL. You get lost in so many things - the view, the animals, the infinity pool, the property in general! The glamping tent was clean and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed - fridge, freezer, sink, burner stove, pots, pans, plates, utensils, salt and pepper. My boyfriend and I loved cooking outdoors while enjoying the view, sitting in and by the pool, walking around the property, checking out the cannabis plants, watching the animals (peacocks, roosters, chickens, dogs, cats), getting a tour of the property by the owner Antler (small fee charged). Every where on the property you get an amazing view. The owner and workers are very polite and give you privacy unless you approach them to socialize. Shout out to Sean for telling us a bit about the farm! Antler is a great host, answers any questions you have, and works his butt off all day while everyone enjoys his beautiful farm. We will be back in October with our parents to check out one of the container homes. Can’t wait!

Very peaceful site, easy to locate, just far enough from everything. The space itself was very clean, cozy, and put together nicely. The outhouse was very clean, and easy to access. The showers got nice and hot and gave you a nice view of nature.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at the Tiny Cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The property is beautiful, quiet, and full of charm, with lovely animals and the sweetest dogs that made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and it was clear how much care has gone into creating such a special place. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially appreciated the balance of cozy amenities and being surrounded by nature. We spent our time relaxing, exploring the area, enjoying the scenery, and simply slowing down. Waking up to the sounds of nature and ending the day under the stars was exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a warm host, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of tranquility, this is a place we’d happily return to.

Weekend Trip to EL EL Cool Ranch

El El Cool Ranch was such a relaxing and wondrous place to stay. It was walking into another dimension of calm and grounding. My kiddo loved the chickens and playing in the yard. My partner and I enjoyed the reset of being in nature. The drive from town was a bit longer and more difficult than expected, but it got easier each time down the road. Eli was organizing the music festival, and we crossed paths with him once- he was a delight to chat with. We are already looking forward to our next stay in the geodome.

Sweetest little rustic cabin with a beautiful view from back deck, and a really charming little outdoor shower/kitchen area. We were so cozy under the down comforter with a fire in the wood stove. Sunny is a super friendly and welcoming host and the dogs Echo and Chloe could not be more adorable/energetic hiking companions :)

3 nights at Shangri-La

We had a lovely weekend in the woods at the red yurt of Shangri-La! It's an excellent base camp for exploring Mendocino National forest and Lake Pillsbury, yet excluded enough to be a peaceful respite. Andrea was an attentive and responsive host, and was a great help getting the heater in the yurt up and running. The on-site bathroom and potable water source were both excellent perks! The pizza oven was a fun camping twist! We got the oven up to around 250F according to the temperature gauge (it reads low, don't overthink it) and each pizza baked in 3-5 minutes. Grab a bottle of wine at the corner store on your way in, then use it to roll out your pizza dough! I definitely recommend this site for anyone seeking a cozy "glamping" experience in a relaxing forest grove!

1 night at spirit chicken ranch

It was such a great stay, we did one night in the coop and wish we could have stayed longer! The outdoor kitchen and wood stove was so nice. It rained while we were there but just listening to the rain while making food and enjoying a fire was amazing. The coop is very cozy with its own wood stove as well. Chris met us on arrival showed us the lay of the land. The sauna was such a nice touch as well! Will def be back!
