You've heard of glamping and dispersed camping, but what about "Back-glamping"? Come visit our gorgeous 17 acre private property, nestled in and above the Spanish Creek area of Plumas National Forest, mere minutes from the quaint, yet bustling mountain town of Quincy, CA, and experience a unique convergence of camping, hiking, backpacking and bushcrafting for an unforgettable custom outdoor adventure. 

Surrounded by hundreds of acres of the Mt. Hough / South Park Trail System's beautifully maintained hiking, biking, equestrian and moto trails, this private camping experience is sure to be a change from the norm. 

Area attractions within walking distance of the property include hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking/ATV trails, swimming, tubing, horse-back riding, gold panning, geocaching and more, not to mention the variety of fun and delicious offerings in town itself. 

You can hike your own gear up the hill, or, better yet, I can deliver your gear, firewood and potable water directly to your remote and private site via ATV,  so all you have to do is enjoy the leisurely hike in from the national forest trail you like best. We will do all the heavy work, so you can just enjoy the experience, including spectacular views from the top of our ridge. 

Also, volunteers helping us with fire recovery and prevention work for the day can always stay for free that night.

There are so many fun activities available in the nearby Blairsden/Graeagle area (golfing, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, spring flowers and autumn foliage...just to name a few).  We are next to the Brewing Lair and Everstoke Mountain biking.

We have added two pre-set up bell tents and one pre-set up tent to our already unique RV, travel trailer, and tent sites.

Our Escape

There is only one spot available at our property to reserve as we leave our trailer up there for most of the summer.   The good news is you will have the place all to yourselves unless we happen to be there which is not very often and we will let you know if we overlap.  This spot has a 30 amp RV plug and a sewer connection.  There is no water or trash service so please bring your own water and practice pack in/pack out practices.   This spot is for RV's only with a full restroom as we don't have restroom facilities onsite.  This is a very quiet spot but does have a few neighbors within earshot so if you are planning on a party spot or having loud music this is not the spot for you.  There is a large smoker/BBQ that is not maintained but is available for your use if you want, we have used it several times and it works great.  There is also a firepit to use when fire season permits.  We are only 4 miles from Graeagle, which is a great little town to explore and eat some ice cream in the park.  There are many great lakes to explore in the immediate area including Lake Davis, Gold Lake, Upper Salmon Lake, and of course upper and lower sardine which are my favorites.

Shared Smoker,BBQ.  This is a use at your own risk it is not maintained or cleaned but it is a fully functional smoker.  You supply the fuel and wood chips.

Airstream in the Forest

This contemporary airstream is super cute and fully loaded. It is plugged in and connected to water. It is nestled in the forest on 20 acres along with a house and 2 furnished bell tent clamping sites. It has access to an outdoor shower and hot tub and laundry room. There is a year round creek that runs though the property and plenty of privacy.
