This was originally a Girl Scout camp called Singing Pines back in the 30’s. You’ll see as you roam around some of the original buildings and structures. It hasn’t been in operation as a Girl Scout camp for over 30 years. The bigger building is an Airbnb for groups. They will also have access to the lake.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Exit for Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2) from the 210
Go North, up the mountain for 29 miles
Turn left on Sulpher Springs Rd
Go about a mile and you will see a Singing Pines sign up on a hill on the right side.
There is a white gate which is usually open but if it's closed go ahead and open it.
Go down that driveway about a mile and turn left at the fork.
Follow that road down and around the lake staying to the right. Once you passed the lake there will be a little uphill and the location is on the left.

The Skoolie is a converted short bus with two love seats that convert to an RV queen bed, sink, stove top, dinette, and over head lights. Outside is a private meadow with a short walk to a small lake. You can bring your fishing gear. It's stocked with Bass and Bluegill. Outside the Skoolie is a picnic table, fire pit (firewood $10 a bundle) and a hammock. Up the hill, a very short walk is the private campground toilet facility. This is not shared with anyone else.
No cell phone reception no linens bring a sleeping bag or warm blankets. You can charge your phone in the Skoolie for a sunrise alarm or just to take pictures.

Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees.
Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. all around the U.S. playing his music and I work for a children's book company. One day, we decided that we wanted to live the rest of our lives hosting live music, and events and that's how Rock & Tree began. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees.
Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. The A frames with bedding and lighting offer a quiet retreat after being outside and exposed to the desert. This is especially true during the windy month of April. The outdoor flushing toilet sink and shower are private and airy. There is also a partitioned and inviting kitchen/gathering space for cooking and eating at a table. We walked, and walked in every direction from the A frame (since it is tucked away from the road) without having to cross a street or intrude on neighbors. We saw wonderful birds and wildflowers, various Joshua trees and jack-rabbits. We heard coyote in the distance. Devil's Punchbowl is a short drive away...and must be experienced. Lake Los Angeles is a 7 minute drive away and has a Dollar General store...which has everything food, drink, necessities related. Osman created a very welcoming outdoor and indoor space that is well lit and safe and clean and warm and quiet...we loved out stay.

This campsite was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. The site felt very private, which made the whole experience even more relaxing and special.
The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights for our family was the animals—such a fun and unique touch! The kids absolutely loved interacting with them and didn’t want to leave.
Overall, it was a perfect getaway for both adults and kids. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Extraordinary. More than I’d hoped for to be honest. Hookups for power and water are amazing to have at each site - beyond that the gift shop has actual good stuff like a mini sprouts grocery! and laundry on site is a HUGE bonus. The ocean access right across the road is amazing. And the nonstop sound of the ocean at the campsite is just divine. I extended my stay to be here for ten days and I’ll definitely be back again next spring. The road cycling out the door is world class and the hiking right next door on solstice canyon is magical. I can’t rave about this spot enough.

Great trip with friends and family this weekend. We really appreciate how clean the bathrooms were, and how our campgrounds were well maintained. The fire pits are in good location and condition, and it was cozy throughout the night. Despite getting caught in a heat wave there were areas under the trees for us to hang out at until it became cooler. Overall this was a great quiet spot to spend time at without being close to neighbors.

My gf and I and her mom we tent camped at the Cityscape Farm View Summit and it was PERFECT, private, peaceful and the view was beyond amazing. Shane, was awesome and was very responsive and accommodating. Feels like you're truly out somewhere in Napa Valley. The farm was very beautiful, highly recommend and we will be back again SOON!
