Our property is lakeside at Rollins Lake In Colfax.
We live on over 30 private, beautiful acres with footpath access to Rollins Lake. (3 minute walk from the dome or house, and 10-15 minutes from the cabin) where most summer days here are spent swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing ect., down at the water. Please note the Cabin is set on a seasonal CANNABIS garden. All three sites are vacation spots with AC and WIFI, not just simple accommodations, but experiences.
The remarkable property is very hilly with pines and oaks. You can follow our driveway to the bottom and access the beginning of The Bear River which has a nice hiking trail alongside it or drive 8 minutes to the nearest boat ramp and 10 minutes to the town of Colfax where you will find gas, groceries, and restaurants.
We have a beautiful spot where you will not see any neighbors so it is peaceful and private with gorgeous 360-degree views. It is also very safe! Bask in nature, quiet, and privacy!
In summer there is a 3-night minimum for the cabin and dome. Occasionally a two day midweek will pop up on the schedule last minute. To see correct pricing, enter your dates as they can fluctuate with holidays, weekends. Prices are decreased midweek.

Marek's property is really special! Tucked away from the main roads and few neighbors. Beautiful views in the day and stars at night. There was cell service on property and the guesthouse was easy to find.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was private & secluded. We actually never made it down to the lake which was okay with us because we were out exploring other things. The cabin had everything we needed to make a small breakfast, enjoy coffee (Keurig) with coffee mate, sugar, and even had some snacks & SPF for us. It was the perfect accommodation for our needs. The road getting up to the house was a little sketchier than anticipated but we put our Jeep in 4Wd & it was fine. I think it would have been okay without it though.

The cabin was secluded and we didn’t see anyone else during our stay there, and it was cute and comfortable. Hosts were great about taking us down to lake which was great for swimming and water activities. Road to cabin is dirt and gravel and we could not do it in our non-4 wheel drive car, but we could park further down and walk up. Just beware of this.

The guesthouse is a nice little unit with all the needed amenities. The farm is lovely and quaint with animals to interact with. But the really nice touch was the host who constantly ensured we had everything we needed and provided recommendations to nearby attractions. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Farmhouse Cabin at Rollins Lake. It was clear that the host put thought and care into ensuring we were comfortable; from the A/C and nice furnishings, to the fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. They even provided a bath bomb for the outdoor tub (which was to die for, btw). The lake was a short, but strenuous hike away - but also a short drive. Loved the lake. Loved the Empire Mine State Park nearby. The cabin felt remote, but was close to town. We are grateful our dog was welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Was a great experience, we lived in the lap of luxury. Justin had made his home into a beautiful spa day in the woods. He was very responsive to all our questions, the accommodations were clean, cozy and very comfortable, the hot tub was divine, and we were nearby a beautiful collection of hiking and swimming spots along the Yuba River. 5 stars!!

The stay was amazing, the directions were also perfect. It’s a very cute cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. We loved the outdoor bathtub- we actually booked it for the outdoor hot tub but unfortunately it wasn’t functional because of the weather but we had fun anyway even without it because it was cold outside and also raining. The bath tub made up for it !!
