Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills on route to Sequoia National Park makes our location very convenient. This is agricultural land which mainly grow citrus, nuts and other tree crops. Citrus groves have windmachines for frost protection and if the nighttime temperature dips below 36 degrees, they start up automatically. This can be noisy depending on how severe the frost threat is to the crops. We are 5 minutes from great restaurants and 45 minutes from Sequioa National Park.

OrangeRay, home of Pixie's Place Animal Sanctuary and Hospice was founded in 2007, when I left L.A. for the forest by the river to create, and to expand my shamanic pursuits. Being that Three Rivers was home to the socialist Kaweah Colony in the 1800's; which helped in the founding of Sequoia National Park; the area is rich in history. Poet John Muir was enchanted and inspired by this area; Walt Disney fell under her spell as well when he envisioned a "Swiss Chalet" style resort which never came to fruition. The water wars of California began right here; gold rush...right here!
"Kaweah" is the name given by the Indians for the sound the Crow makes. Three Rivers literally sits on slabs of quartz crystal, making rock hunting superb! As an energy practitioner, the quartz heightens the healing process; as well as creating an energy vortex.
My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well!
The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo
Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

We enjoyed our stay! The property is tucked back in the hills and is very peaceful, with little more than the sounds of nature and farm animals around you. The tasting room was the highlight of our visit! The owner was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about his products, and the breads, spices, and tastings made for a truly enjoyable experience.
The campsite itself is a simple AstroTurf area next to the tasting room with easy parking, reliable Wi-Fi, and convenient access to an exceptionally clean restroom. Our son enjoyed exploring the garden and watching the solar lights come on in the evening. While I wouldn't make this a camping destination on its own, it's a comfortable and convenient stopover, especially if you're interested in the tasting room experience. We'd happily return for that alone.

We had to make a last minute booking after our one year old had enough of the car, and RandCher Vineyards came through for us. They were incredibly responsive, the site was easy to find and navigate, and the electric hookup was simple. The covered concrete pad was a huge bonus, providing shade and no need to level.
We were so grateful for the comfortable overnight stay and will definitely recommend them to others. Looking forward to staying longer next time!

My son and I loved our two nights at Three Rivers nature lodge. We were made very welcome and the property is beautiful. We used it as a base to visit Sequia national park, with it being a short drive from the entrance. I recommend a cold pint over looking the river at the local brewery after a day exploring the park.

What a beautiful slice of heaven just 3 hours away from Los Angeles. From the mulberry trees, to the river access, and the very great hosts who made us feel very welcomed. You can tell they enjoy giving people access to adventure that you normally wouldn’t have access to. They had a fridge for us to us, a sink area to clean our dishes, a normal bathroom and a shower for a quick rinse.
