As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

River access: If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed). Come and enjoy the views of the river, forest, and wildlife! This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay. Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party. For guests that come for the day but do not stay the night there is a $25 fee per guest(s). If your vehicle gets stuck on the property and you need a tow we may be able to accommodate for a $350 tow fee per vehicle.

Cabin 1 Features a full size bed and a twin size bed. Perfect for parents with one or two children. Cabin 2 Features a queen size bed and small loft. (Very small, but we have had teens sleep up there because it was fun!) Both cabins have a small plug in heater, and a window AC for the hot hours. Wifi reception is limited. The cabins have a indoor/outdoor bathroom with a sink and toilet and a small kitchenette featuring coffee and tea setup, hotplate and mini fridge. You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes. There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Tent space We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Please be aware, this is the country!

Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. Our land is beautiful with amazing views and lots of wildlife - which comes with your fair share of roughing it. All sites have their own compost toilet and handwashing station. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! We are proud to be an affordable option in Calistoga and If you can clean up after yourself (to avoid cleaning fee), we would be happy to host you!

A short 3-minute walk away from the tent you’ll find the shore of the Bear River. Guest access: The tent site is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. If you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle there is parking for up to four vehicles at the house. The tent site is less than a quarter mile walk downhill from the house. River access: If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed). Come and enjoy the views of the river, forest, and wildlife! This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay. Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party. Our 55 acre ranch features cattle, sheep, ducks and chickens, as well as 2 small fruit orchards. Several popular access sites for Cache Creek recreation (rafting, floating) are within a 5 minute drive. We also are very close to popular off road recreation access via the Ridge Trail (County Rd 41) as well as horseback trails such as Cowboy Camp. However, we can only accommodate one or two UTV/Horse trailers at a time, as our parking is limited. We offer several accommodation options that can be combined to fit larger groups. We welcome wedding guests! Nopal Artist Studio An open concept light filled artist and musician studio featuring a pullout sofa, a large sofa in a nook, and floor space for additional camping mats. The cabins have a indoor/outdoor bathroom with a sink and toilet and a small kitchenette featuring coffee and tea setup, hotplate and mini fridge. You also have access to the outdoor picnic area under the fig tree which has a BBQ, picnic table and sink for rinsing dishes. There is no indoor shower, but we do have a rustic outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Tent space We have a small orchard in front of the Nopal Studio. There is room for two tent sites. No camp fires are allowed in the orchard. If it is winter time, we do have a fire ring in the fig tree picnic area, as well as a propane BBQ. The bathroom is shared with the cabins. We have farm animals and dogs which can be loud. The dogs chase squirrels and bark maniacally, and the ducks quack at sunrise, like, lots! There are also spiders, wasps, bees, rattlesnakes etc!! Great views, even with the rain and fog. Dan was very good at communicating and even offered a partial total refund and comped the sheets for a mishap of the past guest that left a bit of a mess, which is/was appreciated.

The 250 square foot cabin has an air conditioner for the summer months, a wood stove or electric heater for the winter months.

Weekend Trip to Kimball Farm

We had a great time camping at Kimball farm! There were both a grill and a stove, plus a firepit, which made cooking super easy. Our group of 11 stayed comfortably with both tents and a cabin. We got to see horses and ducks, and the restroom was clean and flushable a big plus! There were also friendly and smart dogs on the property. If your kids love animals, this is a perfect spot for them. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Kimball Farm

My small group of adults and kids had a great time at this beautiful space. We set up two tents on the lawn, which is adjacent to the cooking and seating/firepit areas. The cabin (with air conditioning!) is a few steps away and up a slight incline. We didn't sleep inside, but it was great to have a place to store items like our coolers and to literally chill out in the heat of the day. There were some ants inside, but if your food things are sealed/enclosed, that shouldn't be a problem. We also brought a shade canopy, which came in handy so we could spend more time outdoors comfortably, including using the provided grill and camp stove in the hot summer daytime sun! The pond was lovely, and there were two dogs who came and visited us often-- the owner's dog Sarah along with his daughter's dog Nala. We loved that, though I appreciated the offer to keep them away in case anyone was not comfortable with dogs. Lots of animal sounds at night and early morning (ducks, frogs, rooster, distant dog barks) , so if that is an issue for you, take note. Really appreciated the flush toilets, outdoor shower and a bathroom sink, along with a spigot with drinkable well water. We also saw two black widow spiders, but we didn't bother them so they didn't bother us. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

We had another wonderful trip here. The hilltop is so beautiful and serene, the extra supplies and cook station will be your aid when you inevitably forget some essentials. We can bring our large dog and she can have the freedom of being off leash which she loves. There is a home-like feel, and the bath and shower are one of a kind. Highly reccomend

Dan's property with the Coral Cabin is ideal for a camper who prefers some amenities. The cabin is cozy and set up perfectly to sleep and be protected from the elements. The outdoor kitchen has running water and a camp stove. There is a storage area that has room to put food and includes a refrigerator. Having a toilet was a luxury in the outdoors as was the outdoor shower. The site provides views, lots of space, peaceful quiet and almost complete privacy. Hiking in the nearby state park was delightful, as was going into town to walk around and have a meal. I highly recommend this location.

Weekend Trip to Kimball Farm

Kimball farm was a great get away for us! The cabin was clean and slept 3 adults, 1 child and 1 dog comfortably. The outdoor area was everything we could ever want, bbq, stove top, picnic table, prep table, seating and fire pit. The additional grassy area and being next to the pond where we could watch the ducks and listen to the toads was the cherry on top! George and his wife were great hosts, showing us around and letting my 3 year old help with the chicken feed. Sara was an absolute sweetie pie and kept us company often. This was the perfect getaway for a normally noisy weekend with all the fireworks.
