There is a green pipe rail gate at the end. This gate has a combination lock. You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival. We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.
There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose.
Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times.
Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.
Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

I loved this place! Partly the location and partly the very nice people there.
About the location: it's not for everyone,; it is a bit of a drive including 5 miles on a scrabble road that is fine. But you get out and away from everyone and into a beautiful spot with a great view. It’s also rather rustic that I like that soon they will have a bath house and it’ll be different.
There’s an example of how they were nice to me: I am 72 years old and have some mobility issues. they were very cognizant of it and helped me get around a little bit. That was very sweet.
I would come back every year if I could.

Patrice’s campsite is as described by others and in the hip camp listing. It sits in the middle of a large piece of property just past the town of Weed off Highway 97. We liked this location and site. We pitched our tent on flat ground that felt remote, quiet, and off the beaten path. Campsite 3 had a great view of Mt. Shasta, though when we were there it was covered in clouds. You should be aware that the Porta-potty feels like a long walk from the site (100-200 yards). Patrice is super responsive and will make sure you have everything you need.

It is close to the main road without feeling close to it.
Patrice was readily available when I got to the gate and I had not seen the text with the gate code. She answered right away and got me in the gate.

I've had the best time staying on this beautiful mountain with these wonderful people. There is absolutely nothing like waking up to mountain sunrises, and taking a dip in the cool creek after hiking on a hot day. This place is very special, and it's not just due to the breathtaking views. It's also because of the people there whose goal is to make it feel like both home and a new adventure all at once. I look forward to many many more trips back!

It was nice! There was a well kept outhouse, and she put hand sanitizer and such inside. Nice touches. There was a garbage can and a picnic table - we had a good camping experience there.
The only drawback in my opinion is that the camp lacks a source of water so you need to bring your own.

We felt so lucky to have stumbled upon Kat and her partner’s beautiful little piece of property. The campsite itself gave stunning views of the night sky (we spotted the Milky Way and a shooting star!) We wished we had stayed longer so that we had more time to explore the area! This spot is definitely a hidden gem! From incredible star-gazing to a beautiful sunrise, this spot is perfect for the view-seekers. Kat and her partner were such gracious hosts, thinking of the little things to help make us comfortable. They made themselves available if we needed anything throughout our stay as well. They have a little piece of heaven tucked away in the mountains of southern Oregon and they’re dedicated to making it as special as possible! Getting to the Hipcamp is a little tricky even with detailed instructions so definitely give yourself time to get there as they are still working to perfect the off-grid navigation.

A serene, safe spot to camp for 4 nights. And a perfect location for accessing all that Mt, Shasta and the surrounding area has available. I highly recommend the sound bath with Bodhi, as it was an incredible experience and unlike other sound baths I’ve done in the past. You won’t be disappointed!!

Gorgeous views of Mt. Shasta on beautiful private land! I stayed at site #3 and enjoyed that it was a bit separated from the rest of the site and had stunning unobstructed views. It was easy to find the location and access the site. No facilities other than a porta potty but it was clean. I would definitely recommend, perfect location to stop for a night along the 5 or to explore Shasta from. I would prefer this over staying on the mountain itself.
