Our favorites are Julian Beer Company & Quecho but ask for more recs! 🐴 Next door to a horse sanctuary, Hills of Gold Equine Sanctuary, where you can volunteer or book a private experience to get hands on with 6+ rescue horses. 🌲 So many trails to explore in the local Cuyamaca State Park or Santa Ysabell Nature Preserve. We recommend the Santa Ysabell East trail for a mellow hike through rolling meadow amongst lots of cows!

Weekend Trip to Stone Meadow Ranch In Wynola

Loved the stay at stone meadow. Idyllic spot, the giant oak tree alone makes it special. An owl came out just at sunset and perched on a tree near by. Dogs enjoyed sniffing and running around. Would definitely stay here again, might come back to climb Volcan or to check out Wynola which is only a 20 min walk.

We had such a great time camping at Stephen’s Stone Meadow Ranch site! It was the perfect spot to enjoy with the pups! Cory and Jess were amazing when we arrived! And we found the spot to be plenty private for our family’s weekend getaway! Well definitely recommend and return!

I loved Tent Camping on Franks land! He was a wonderful host, and he took care of us to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for somewhere that is full of nature and a getaway from the busy life, this is the perfect spot and the best host.

2 nights at Serene Mountain Valley Ranch

We had the BEST experience at Peaceful Ranch in Mountain Valley. The private setting is stunning. The ranch features gorgeous meadows, great hiking trails, and picturesque granite boulders throughout the scenic property. Our host, Laurel, was so welcoming and communicative before and during our visit. We felt very much at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. There is plenty of flat parking and nature is everywhere you look. The ranch is so peaceful and it was nice to have Laurel's ponies nearby to visit with. This was our first trip with a new (to us) 40' motorhome and Laurel and her lovely ranch made it a wonderful, memorable adventure for us! We plan to return and highly recommend the ranch to anyone that is looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature. Our pups loved it too!!!!
