Please be aware this is camping in nature, along with squirrels, spiders, falling leaves, etc. and nature is not always for everyone. There is a 45ft. ladder to climb to get into the treehouse. The view at sunset is spectacular. Featured on the first page of top Glamping destinations in California, in National Geographic's 50 States, 500 campgrounds. Both sites include a trunk of goodies: Complimentary trunk of goodies that is filled with muffins, mugs, creamer, sugar, coffee, croissants, cards, champagne & wine glasses & wine opener! If you love new animal experiences, this is the place for you! If you are scared of or allergic to cats or dogs, this might not be the place for you! If you can't handle new smells and sounds, this might not be the place for you. You will feed and enjoy the animals; please respect their space, no chasing and no going into their enclosures. There is dirt, dust and various country critters. We love Country Life!! If you are adventurous and love animals and want a unique experience, come check us out! Restroom available in the main house (short walk from the cabin). Small fridge and microwave next to the restroom. There is no kitchen/oven/stove available. Gas Fire pit available ; there is no BBQ. We are exceptionally cautious with camp fires. If it is particularly hot and windy, there will be no fires. We now have a gas fire pit where you can create smores or just enjoy the campfire ambiance. Price is $175 for the Flying Pig (up to 5 total). Another option (as an add-on): you can pitch a tent for $45. "The Flying Pig" has a queen bed, bunk beds twin size, and a loft with a twin mattress, all bedding included. You are not just paying for a place to sleep; you are paying for an experience and the enjoyment of our property :-). We serve a continental breakfast (free) or hot breakfast ($35/cabin) between 8-9am. (we can accommodate vegetarian and dairy free diets; let us know before you come). We provide bedding and towels. There is A/C and a plug-in heater in The Flying Pig. Please do not bring additional things to plug in except for chargers for phone/electronic devices. We are approximately 1 1/2 hours south of San Francisco, 30 min south of San Jose (without traffic). Gilroy Gardens is 15 min away; Harvey Bear County park is 1 mile away; Monterey and Santa Cruz and the Pinnacles National Park are approximately 1 hour away. We utilize minimally invasive practices for optimal fruit quality, which in turn means every grape matters. Please do not pick the grapes, thank you! We are located in a rural mountain setting. Please allow additional time to access the property. During heavy storms and heat waves, we do experience power outages. We will be sure to work with you in unique situations such as this, so you are comfortable. We have several candles as well as a few flashlights on hand in case of a power outage. We are happy to build a fire for you if you don't know how, and can give you some basic tips to keep it going. Please note we are a fully operational farm in a rural setting. We had such a fun stay at the Room with a View of a Ewe! Kim the host was extremely welcoming and friendly - she showed us around the farm and we got to feed the chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, bunnies, and alpacas. It was a hit with our toddler. The cabin was comfortable and warm overnight, and the breakfast and s’mores kit were an added bonus. Thanks Kim!

Absolutely WONDERFUL STAY! The location is a four minute drive to castle rock state park, the house is stocked with everything you may need including a full bar, seltzers and sodas, FRESH EGGS, and snacks (just bring your favorite creamer and bread for the perfect breakfast each morning)! Our favorite part of the trip was the tub outside overlooking the lake that can be swam in along with their friendly fur animals that you can feed! Highly recommend and hope to be back!

My friend and I loved our time in this beautiful beautiful space. It's serene and quiet and so lovely. Its really conveniently located — feels peaceful and removed but close to many of the places we wanted to visit (downtown Santa Cruz, point lobos, and Carmel). The outside kitchen was super cute to enjoy breakfast and dinner. And they have the cutest Alpacas!!!!!! That truly made our stay. The room was comfortable as well! The host was lovely and accommodating! We felt pretty taken care off! It was an overall great time!

Kim’s farm, as my kids call it, is one of our favorite family adventures. It’s low-key and peaceful but engaging enough to keep a 9 year old, a 7 year old, and a 2 year old all equally comfortable and happy. They love to feed the animals and collect eggs. They love sleeping in the cabin and getting up early to wander the property in their pajamas. They feel mostly unsupervised and totally safe. Kim goes out of her way to make our visits feel special. She also makes a wonderful breakfast.

The Haven is a peaceful, cozy gem (and a convenient for getting to the Soquel MTB trails). Naomi warmly welcomed me and my partner when we arrived and then we had plenty of privacy. The outdoor kitchen is absolutely delightful, the bedroom is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Watching the sunset over the trees in the valley while winding down with a cup of tea was heavenly. Would absolutely return!
