Site#1 has Full Hook Up - Running water, sewage RV Hookup of 30amp and 50amp electricity, for $45. Site#2 and Site#3 are side by side. They have running water and priced at $25. each. These two Sites are better for tents or a small trailer. A personal generator may be used but only during certain hours. These are lovely spots with shade trees, so pretty. There are lots of mature Juniper trees and some Pine trees that provide shade on the property. Often we experience a lovely breeze. We live a mile off of 260 on a rugged dirt road. We keep the Entrance Gate locked for safety and security.
We are located on 2 acres and have a garden and a green house where we grow a large variety of vegetables. We only accept trailers and fifth wheels of 21 feet or less on site #2 and #3. There is a Chicken House and a rooster and we have plenty of farm fresh eggs that are available to purchase.
0ur home is tucked away 1 mile off the 260 Hwy. on a rugged dirt road. First you will drive pass the Linden Valley Arena before reaching our property. The Arena was designed for ropers by ropers and is open from May thru September.
10-15 minute drive away is Fool Hollow lake, Show Low City Park, Safeway Grocery Store, Post Office, Library, and a variety of restaurants. As this is a newly purchased property, landscaping and other improvements may be taking place during your stay. Some areas of the forest remain closed while work is being completed. For everyone’s safety, please remain within designated guest areas and do not enter closed sections of the property.
The property is fully fenced and easily accessible via maintained county roads, providing both privacy and convenience. A grocery store, convenience store, and fuel station are approximately 6 minutes away, while restaurants, shopping, and other services in Show Low are about 20 minutes away.
The host lives on the property in a tiny home and is available if needed while respecting guests’ privacy. A friendly corgi also calls Juniper Hollow home and may occasionally stop by to say hello.

My granddaughters were able to just wander the property safely, sometimes riding and others hiking. The setup is perfect and easy with the corral right in camp. Richard and his lovely wife were the most wonderful hosts. The site was clean. Instructions were clear. Electric, water, and sewer hookup were all fabulous. The RV site has a gentle slope but my levelers fixed that up no problem. We also had the treat of garden fresh lettuce for our tacos and burgers from these generous hosts! I loved visiting the chickens, goats, and rabbits everyday. Walking the dogs at night was a special treat because it is so dark and quiet in their neighborhood. We could see the milky way! I have another trip to the area in a month and will definitely be looking at this site. My only regret is not having enough time to chat more with Richard and his sweet wife. Hopefully next time!

Justin, the property manager, welcomed us as we arrived and escorted us to our site. He familiarized us with property and gave us some great tips for trail access. We were very happy with the hospitality we received. The campground was secluded and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. The mountain trails were easily accessible, as we enjoyed exploring them during the day. The night views are perfect for stargazing, it’s breathtaking how many stars were visible. We will definitely be return customers.

Our 2 and 4 yr old loved the dirt piles, rocks, rabbits, goats, and chickens. They have already asked if we can stay again! Mr. Richard and his wife were a joy to chat with. We even got to enjoy the rodeo down the road. Highly recommend.

When we got to Tracy’s, the hostess’, Hipcamp location, she showed us a few options for camping. We were not actually campers, just traveling through for one night on our way to the Petrified Forest. We were her very first campers, and she was so, so accommodating. We stayed at the carport at her husband’s office, and it was all we needed. It was perfect for us.
Having said that, and although they own lots of land, based on our stay, I would suggest that this is not a recreation area unto itself, but rather a location from which to find recreation areas. For us, it was only 35 minutes from the Petrified Forest, so again it was perfect.
And finally, the hostess is a gem of a human being, so lovely and accommodating, and I would highly recommend her Hipcamp for any traveler looking for a safe overnight for their travels.

Sara was such a gracious host! Communication with her was exceptional. The property and campsite exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Juniper Berry Campsite with E/W in our 35’ fifth wheel. Easy pull-in site that was positioned on a circular drive which made it easy to park and easy to exit. Our cats loved exploring the property and became curious friends with Hamish (Scottish Highland bull) and his companion, Little Fergie.

This was a beautiful campsite. The hosts were so hospitable and generous. We heard elk bugling every night and saw a few deer on our drive in. Our daughter LOVED seeing the alpacas, highland cows, donkeys, and horses. We hope to make it back soon!
