Your RV backs up to the forest, providing a private, tranquil setting with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and rim. Despite the secluded, wooded atmosphere, you're only about 7 minutes from shopping, restaurants, medical facilities, and area lakes. Conveniently located in Show Low, with easy access to Pinetop-Lakeside, the property is adjacent to the host's private residence. Your hosts are nearby and available to assist if needed while still allowing you to enjoy your own peaceful space. Make yourself comfortable with the provided picnic table and gas barbecue grill-perfect for relaxing outdoors, enjoying a meal, and taking in the fresh mountain air. Absolutely excellent experience. Friendly and generous host, beautiful location, everything you'd hope a Hipcamp would be. I would love to tell you it was horrible so I could have it all to myself but I'd be lying.

Spot in the trees

Perfect place for quiet and shade. If you are looking for a spot without tons of other campers, this one is for you. There is a grill and picnic table to be able to eat outside. Byron and his wife were very welcoming and I really enjoyed my time at Elk Run.

The Elk Run Retreat

The host responds to questions and concerns promptly and with friendliness. I recommend the property for the peaceful nature surroundings and for the excellent host. I plan to return with friends next time. The secluded property makes a great landing spot for a retreat.
